CHAPTER THREE

After he pressed a few more buttons, the strange machine started to shake and shudder pushing them both into nearby seats, mounted to the floor. "Whats happening?!" Victoria demanded as she was thrown around in the uncomfortable chair. "I don't know yet!" he shouted back.

When the shaking stopped, they once again walked about cautiously looking for what had changed. Staring at the front door Matt singled for Victoria to wait while started to slowly walk over to the open door. Cautiously, until he was sure it was safe, he stood at the door. "Wait here, ill check it out he caught a glance of someone peering down a elevator shaft.}

Becoming very confused he was about to ask who he was when he heard "What are you doing?" Come from the stares. Both the startled Matt turned to see Victoria looking down the shaft with the other Matt.

Realization hit him like a bus, he traveled into the past! Smiling to him self he looked back to the door he came out of only to discover that it had changed. It was now looked like a old office door!

Going back inside he relaxed when it was still a huge circular room with 4 other doors inside. "So the chameleon system was working!" he exclaimed to himself.

Letting his inner self takeover, he teleported back to the present in time to see Victoria checking out the complicated control panels outside of Matts new discovery. "There you are!" Victoria exclaimed as he exited his secret layer.

"Here I am." Replied Matt recovering from his excitement. "What where you doing in a supply closet?" Questioned Victoria. "You know, searching for clues..." Matt replied trying to hide a smile. "And?" Victoria pestered. "And making a huge discovery!!" Exclaimed Matt.

"What did you find?" asked Victoria as she crept towards the supply closet. With Matt in the lead they both entered the huge room. "So whats so cool about a huge room?" Victoria asked, a little disappointed. "Its a time machine!!!" Declared Matt excitedly.

"Ha ha very funny Mat." Victoria replied to what she thought was Matts sarcasm. "No! Look!" Explained Matt trying desperately to keep Victoria interested. Pressing the buttons and pulling some levers Matt started up the machine once more.

"What are you doing?!?" Shouted Victoria over the noise of the vehicle. "Transporting us into the future!!!" Matt shouted back. After mere moments the rumbling stopped and Matt ran to the front door to look out side.

"Here we are!" Informed Matt. "Where is here?" Asked Victoria. "Well from the look of the data screen we are in 2055" replied Matt. "Wow! Look at those cars, there flying!" Exclaimed the dumfounded Victoria.

"Do you believe me now?" Questioned Matt. "I'm starting to yes." Replied Victoria. "So are you going to look around?" Asked Matt as he was still gathering up his courage. Not wanting to look like a cowered she headed out into what felt like a different world.

"Wow look at the teleporter." committed Matt "It looks like a Porta-potty" exclaimed Victoria "It does!" Matt replied confirming that this really was a Time Lords TARDIS. Having spent all day trying out futuristic carnival rides and sightseeing every planet in the solar system they called it a day and returned to the Porta potty.

"Holy poop!, We've ben gone all day!" Exclaimed Victoria. "Quick we have to go back" she shouted at Matt. "Im going! I'm going!" Matt replied. Flying back to 1990 the found that the came back at the same time of day as when they left.

"We've missed an entire day!" Shouted at the still calm Matt. "How can you be so calm right now?!?!!" She screamed at Matt. "Go look at the date." he replied nodding at the nearest paper boy. Pulling over the boy she asked him the date and almost fainted when he replied "Its the twenty fifth mam, the twenty fifth of December."

Returning to Matt she said "You could have told me nothing changed here!". With a grin Matt replied "But you could have paid more attention to the show!"
