Chapter 12

I’m a complete dick for acting that way.  That’s all I could think at this point. I hate being like that, so usually nothing can bring that side out of me. I’m normally the sweet guy. I mean I know I have my moments but that’s was just horrible. I didn’t even want to stop acting that way. Ricky has made me feel very strongly for her since the first time I saw her and I don’t understand it. I normally don’t care this much about a girl. I end up having to leave them anyways, so I don’t get attached. This was another reason why we had this place built so we could get out of England.

I watched as kid after kid passed me without realizing I was there. It was nice sometimes to be able to will yourself invisible. I this was one of the perks to being what I am, but it still can’t trump the cons of the whole thing. I want to be able to grow old and die with the one I love, not live for freaking ever; that’s just pointless. I mean it did seem cool becoming this way, at first, but now everything has gone downhill as time goes by.

I continued walking to my cabin that I shared with my brothers. Passing cabin after another cabin was getting pretty boring. All I could think of the during my journey to my room was if I Should I tell Dougie that he just so happens to be the love of my life’s favorite band member. I mean it would be mean of me not to tell my own flesh and blood that he has a better chance than the rest of us to be with Ricky, but at the same time I really like her. And, the fact that I think I just said the love of my life; yea I think I just thought that. This means there is definitely something wrong with me.

What to do what to do. That’s all I could think at this point. I mean I just met the poor girl and I’m talking about her being the love of my life. Hah yea that’s real smart. I mean being alive for a 100 years now you would think I wouldn’t care about falling in love this fast but I’m definitely worrying at this point; especially when my own brothers are going to be competition. Damn I’m a sappy person for thinking like this; I’m not going to even worry about all of this. Let me just go with the flow.

Walking past the last cabin I go to the lake and there mine and my brother’s cabin sits. It’s really close to the lake just how we wanted so we could go late night swimming or just sit by the lake without having to walk so far away. I walked into the cabin while trying to remember whose idea it was to have the cabins be like real apartments.

“Bro your finally home, we have been waiting to play a game of pool.” Hearing that voice ring through the halls had me realizing who designed the cabins; Danny that’s who.

“I’m not in the mood for any games. I just want to go for a swim or something.” I calmly said even though I knew he wasn’t going to like it but oh well I don’t feel like playing.

And sure enough Danny was not happy since he appeared right in my path to my room, “Uhh no can do buddy we are going to have fun on the first night here. So, that means a game of pool then we are going to be playing the Infinite Chug.”

“No I’m just not in the mood to play that stupid ass game right now.” I didn’t understand why Danny’s mouth almost literally dropped to the floor.

I had to think about what I said and then realized why he looked like that. I said ass and normally I’m not one to curse. It’s beneath me but I’m just a little agitated right now, so this is a onetime thing; I hope.

“Danny I’m just not in the mood to play any sort of game and anyways I need to talk to Dougie.” 

I waited a minute knowing Dougie heard me and would appear any minute, “Yes what do you want to talk about.”
