Buggy the Clown's name was not always 'Buggy'. His original name was Boogie the Clown but Oda, the maker and writer of One Piece, changed it to Buggy after he saw 'Nightmare Before Christmas' and didn't want to plagiarize so as to not bring any further conflicts with the anime.
