The Ugly Girl Contest

Chapter 4

"Wow," I said.

"Damn I'm good," Stacy said.  

Usually, I would say something sarcastic to her but she was right.  

I looked amazing.

My usually untamable (and poorly dyed) blonde hair was straight and cascaded down my back.  My brown eyes were somehow a richer brown from the eyeshadow and eyeliner she put on my eyelids.  My brown skin glowed from the highlighter that Stacy applied. My usual lips were a rich deep maroon color   Finally, my body was shown my a tight black dress that wrapped around my body. I immediately felt bad for the hell I put Stacy through.

~a few minutes ago~

"Stacy that's not a dress, that's a shirt" I said.

"It is a dress an expensive one that I am allowing you to wear out of the kindness of my heart," Stacy argued.

"I'll look like a slut" I whined.

"And?" Stacy asked " do you know the girls he goes out with?  I don't think virgin is a common thread."

"I'm not wearing that Stacy, I have too much self-respect and too high of morals to wear it"  I folded my arms no way in hell was I wearing that.

"It'll make your ass look great," Stacy said nonchalantly. 

I rolled my eyes and grabbed the shirt dress. 

"High morals my ass" Stacy muttered.

~present time~

"Zammmmmmmn mami why don't you stay here and forget all about-" the doorbell rang.

"That's him," I said.

My hands started to sweat and I felt like I was going to throw up.

"He's going to love you," Stacy said.

"Carly your boyfriend's here" my brother screamed.

I rolled my eyes, grabbed my purse and my coat, and headed downstairs.

I went to the door and almost gasped Shane looked so incredibly hot.  More than usual. 

He looked up from talking to my mom and his eyes almost fell out of his head " um....hi Carly"

I smiled and felt good if only I looked like this every day.

"Ready to go?" I said.

Little did I know I wasn't even close to prepared.
