Stupid Muggles

Kai's P.O.V.
I flopped down on the couch, relishing in the moment of silence. But it was quickly interrupted by a shrill voice, "Kai... the water is not working!!!" Sighing I yelled back,
"I don't know how to work the water thingy."
She pattered into the living room in only a long t-shirt and socks. She looked at me with a frown and crossed her arms.
"This is your house...fix it!!!"
"Yeah...this is definitely my house...not,I muttered under my breath.
"What was that," she asked complaining.
"Hey now...don't get mad..we were good last night."
She pursed her lips in concentration, and when i gestured to her, she walked over.
I cupped her face in my hands and I stared at her right in the eyes. I gently touched her cheek and whispered, "you should leave." Her eyes glazed over and she turned to leave the room. As soon as I had heard the door shut behind her, I sighed. "Stupid women."
"So rude," a voice said from the doorway.
"Ahh Katherine, come in, come in."
She walked in tentatively, looking around at her surroundings.
"Have you thought about our deal," I asked standing up and grabbing a wine glass. "I would really like something to celebrate."

"You tell me that I should help you become the head of your coven, but I don't understand how that helps me," she said crossly.

"Well,if you help me I promise you we'll run the world together." I saw her eyes glow at the prospect, but something was holding her back. "Don't worry you don't need to ruin your perfect new life because of it, they won't even have to know." It had struck home, and I knew it. Katherine had become entangled with the "good guys" and she needed to become un-stuck.

"Fine," she said hesitating slightly.

I grabbed the champagne bottle and popped it. I handed her a glass and filled both of ours with the bumbling liquid.

"To the future," I said happily, clinking our glasses together.

"To the future," she mumbled back.

We had just sat down to enjoy our drinks when the front door crashed open, and as quick as a wink Katherine had sped off.

"Stupid muggles," I yelled as three men walked in.

"First off, we're not muggles, we're vampires and secondly, did you make a Harry Potter reference," Damon asked as the three of them sauntered into the room.

"It was on one night and I watched it. It was good, but the blonde, weasel one annoyed me."

"Do you mean Draco Malfoy,"Klaus asked and when I nodded, continued,"I loved him, he's so misunderstood and he may be evil,but it's just..."

"Leave the fangirling for another time," Stefan interrupted,"we've got something to talk about."

"Could you of done it without breaking down my door," I asked staring at the wreckage.

They looked at each other, shrugged in unison, and then said, "probably."

Hey guys!!!! Sorry this took so long, school has been a drag. But did you like the sneaky Harry Potter reference. I'm so excited for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, you have no idea. I'm also totally on Klaus' side when it comes to being a bit of a Draco fangirl, if I do say so myself. ;)
