I have a couple notes before you start reading:
1) The time period of this story is set as if the medieval knights had survived into the turn-of-the-century. So where it has newer innovations such as electricity, glass windows, insane asylums (say wat?), and printed books, there will also be things such as armor and castles and kingdom-disputes that fit with the medieval era. (Basically, it's a made-up time of multiple eras smashed together.)
2) The sisters start out as children, but will age up.
3) Prepare for the feelz, because there will be much heartbreak and betrayal and all that good stuff!
4) There are 3 points of view in this story, one for each of the sisters. Probably each chapter will have more than one part, which I'll indicate in the chapter title.
