The teenage looking girl yawns, the morning light hitting her blurry eyes. "Mornin," She mutters, patting her cat's fluffy head. He gives a purr, then jumps off the bed.

"Food...I know." She mutters, clambering out of bed to follow him. She rubs her blurry eyes, then takes her glasses off the bed stand, putting them on. She walks into the kitchen, pouring a bowl of cat food for the hungry feline.

She pulls out a box of Life cereal, pouring herself a bowl. She doesn't bother putting any milk into it. As she eats, she gazes out the window, watching the pedestrians passing by on the cobble street. Canada was a bit of a lonely place depending on where you lived. She didn't mind, she liked to be solitary. She drops the bowl into the sink, then walks back to her bedroom to get dressed. She had a job to do today.

The girl walks back out of her room, adjusting a pair of dog tags that hang off her pale neck. She walks to the front door, grabbing her worn leather jacket and slipping into it, adjusting the collar before walking out of the apartment.

The streets where almost empty, only a few stray joggers and teens going up and down the cobbled sidewalks. She makes sure to avoid eye contact as she walks down the street.

After a few blocks, she turns and slams into a younger girl, knocking the bag she was carrying to the ground. Little did she know, this one girl would change the course of her life.
