Hi, my name is Alice. I live in a foster home in Illinois. My Mother was taken away when I was 5. Me and my mother were at the park. She was pushing me on the swing her warm motherly hands where pushing against my back. It was the best feeling in the world. Then it stopped, her hands weren't push against my back anymore. I heard a scream, I turn back to see a back hole. With a my mothers hand desperate to hold on. Then In a blink of the eye she was gone. The portal disappeared. I haven't seen her ever since. And I'm 16 now.(11 years)




Once she was gone. My father thought that he couldn't handle me and my sister. Couldn't take care of us, So he put me up for adoption.




I am currently living in mother Caroline's foster care.

I can't live here forever can I? Well it's time to go to school now. "come back right away don't talk to anyone." Mrs.caroline said.




She's says I can't trust anyone, I guess she true i don't exactly fit in around here. I was walking around school today when, SLAM! I was aggressively shoved against the lockers. "Get out of my way foster reject." Nikki the meanest girl in school said. You heard her right, 'Foster Reject' that's my name around here although there is one person who I think I can trust.




"Hey Alice." Said Henry the only person I can trust. That was the perk of the day. Other than that my day went pretty fast.




By the end of the day, outside of the school, I turned to see a, shadowey figure with a skull face and a long blackish grayish cloak. It waved its boney finger at me motioning me the come over there. I thought I was seeing things I hit my head pretty hard when I was shoved up against the lockers. I went over just to see if I was seeing things or not.




When I went over there he smiled as far as the teeth could go "Ahhhh... Yes..... I found you." He picked me up and started stroking my hair. He started giggling "Yes! I found her! I must tell my master! I FOUND THE DAUGHTER!" Then he was gone




I was thinking about him pretty much the whole way home what did he want with me? Who's, Master? I arrived at the foster home mrs. Caroline walked towards me and she had had depressed look on her face. "Your sister she's dead." My sister, she was adopted a couple years ago her name was Eagan




" what how?" I asked tears were already starting to come though my eyes it felt like a punch in the gut.




"She killed herself." Said mrs. Caroline she left a note. Mrs. Caroline handed me the note the note read, " I have been depressed every since I was separated from my sister, Alice I just couldn't handle it anymore so I thought and thought about I decided that if I couldn't be with her, there was no use at all for me for to be on this planet any longer..."




Tears ran down my face, then I saw a man out of the window.......
