Ugh. Why can't I think of any good music? For four years I've had no good songs composed!

As i start to create a beat, that clearly does not work together, manager Lee passed an envelope to me,
"YG CEO sent you this, "

Fuck.

Those are the scariest words in life.

I slowly open the envelope, bacon myself for the worse

"Dear Mino,

Winner has not been making good progress so far therefore I am setting you guys all on hiatus.

I hope the hiatus will help you recover your songwriting skills. Furthermore, we will still be your company, al though you will be on break.

Enjoy this rest, but also work: you need to create a masterpiece.

Wow.

He's basically firing me for a year or two.

KAKAO POV

Mino: so, hiatus huh?

KSY: perfect. Just perfect.

Jinwoon: I'm going to take a break from this idol thing

Mino: where r u guys planning to go?

Taehyun : to my girlfriends, obviously

Jinwoon: which one? Heheh 😈

Seunghoon : I'm thinking of travelling.

Seunghoon: You know, to get inspiration.

KSY: I'm gonna relax and think of songs. Wbu Mino?

Mino: I'm thinking of going home.

Seunghoon : in Daegu? !

Mino: yh. I think I'll get the most inspiration there.

MINO POV

I get a house rented for my stay in Daegu instantly.

I want to move there as soon as possible.

I'm moving today. Yep. As soon as possible.

As I get driven to Daegu, I put a random dvd into my dvd okayer and jam it in,

It's her voice.

It's her face.

It's her.

She's doing a self cam and she's getting everything ready,
"Operation wake Mino up, let's proceed,"
She walks through my old apartment and there I am, drooling and snoring at the same time.
She hugs me
"Oppa, wakey wakey," it looks as if I'm still asleep, "oppa" she leans in and kisses me.

I miss that kiss. The soft feeling of her lips on me.

I watch more videos of her and me together. My favourite one is when we went to China and climbed the bridge together.

I reminisce me an her together- her rough voice, her soft smile. Right now Winner is not doing so good- all the songs I've composed as become fails. She would sit with me and try to sing a tune, and she helped me create "Empty" .

But she didn't sing the tune to me.

I felt empty without her.

It's been four years and I don't know why I haven't moved on.

Reporters still don't know whether we've broken up or not.

JUNE POV

"Nal darmeun keolleoring ring ring ring ring" I sing, smoothing ot my tone,

"Yah, can u sing something else other than winner?" Jisoo looks at me, she always looks annoyed when I sing winner.

"Tsk, what about, sipa hajima no no no, " I dance to the beat when I sing

She laughs and mocks me, then turns the radio on,

"T-ara are buzzing China charts getting no.1 place! New news; Winner to go on hiatus, YG has not confirmed why or until when the hiatus is but fans are devastated to hear this..."

JISOO POV

June's actually such a weirdo when he's alone.

Apink? Really,

I turn the radio and hoping for some beast music but instead...

winner. Hiatus.

Suddenly everything floods back : mino, my injury, the betrayers, my past.

I still talk to Mino once in a while since he claims he isn't over me and all.

But really, he hasn't changed. Hes still charminng and talented. But WhT happened to me made ME change. I used to let people into my lives easily, but now I'm too scared to trust. They took away the only thing I knew how to do.

No one in Daegu knows about my past.

It's better that way.
