A scientist is trying to develop a cure for cancer when suddenly it leaks overnight on his potato plants in his laboratory and it the potatoes become mutant and terrorize the city.

It all began on a cool, windy day down in Dr. Randolph's basement. Dr. Randolph and his lab partners were trying out a new type of liquid that could possibly be a cure for cancer, which they do not know yet that it could be the cure. The doctor had just been messing around with some chemicals in his laboratory to make try and make a chemical substance that would cure cancer.

Not too far away from where the doctor was working, were some potato plants that he was growing for food. Dr. Randolph was restless and started to get tired. After two more hours of doing research on the chemical substance, he finally decided to clean up his mess and go to bed. He sat the chemical substance on the counter near the potato plants.

Later that night the wind crept through the windows and knocked over the green chemical substance. Just so happens that the green substance has spilled onto the potatoes. Next, the potatoes started to talk, walk, and even move! The doctor heard laughter and things breaking down in his laboratory. So, he went down to check out the strange noises he had heard.
