First thing first, the band motto. Now you might think it's not that serious or that there is more than one. Now I'm here to tell you that you most definitely are wrong. I mean yes there is a couple of band mottos and yes some of them are not serious, but there is one that is not just a motto but a rule and you should follow it hopefully for as long as you live. That band motto/ rule is: On Time Is Late. Now I know that some people are going to think that is more of a rule than a motto... and you are not wrong but it is because it's the most important thing to remember.
Tips:
1. When you are given a time for any band rehearsal or practice always try and show up at least ten to five minutes early.
2. If you can't be there ten to five minutes early tell your band director ahead of time
3. If wanting to avoid questions from the band director try to see if you can get a ride from a friend
4. Last but not least try and never be late more than onceThis is what you will feel like if follow this motto
Ok I'm exaggerating a little bit 😀
