Bodies slammed into concrete, blood spilling from holes in their bodies.
Bullets whizzed around me, knives flew from rusted fingers, aiming for their target - the clickers.
Hands wrapped around my bicep, dragging me back towards safety, which was nowhere in this case.
"Didn't I tell you to stay behind us while we fired?!" brown eyes found mine. They held fire and anger in them.
"Jillian you couldn't be anymore stupid! Our lives our in danger because of that little stunt you decided to pull out of your a-"
"Manners," I seethed, pulling a shot gun from my pants. "I can take care of myself Maggie! Deanna wants me to get stuff for the party!"
Maggie rolled her eyes, as she pulled a shot gun from her belt.
She wrapped a protective arm around me. I wished - in my head, she would trust me.
Clickers in torn clothes appeared in front of us, jabbing their nasty claws at us. I put my gun away, yanking my knife from my belt, grabbing its neck i lodged it in-between the eyes of the dead as Maggie did the other.
The two bodies slumped on each other, blood pooling around them.
Maggie looked around us, dropping her arm in the process. "You did good." She muttered. I eeriely nodded, "Thank you."
My hand was tugged harshly, Maggie's eyes pierced holes into every inch of my face. The fire and anger had gone and now it was placed with a pleading, guilt look.
"Stay close to me, were leaving this h*ll hole." Maggie told me. Once again, I nodded.

"We're in the h*ll have all of you been?" Nicholas yelled at us, walking around towards us. "Your late! Should have drove off and left ya here!"
"Shut up, Nicholas." Glenn groaned. His head popped out from the truck, sending a pleading look towards Maggie and I.
I stiffled a small laugh, while clamping my hand around the handles. My body was pulled forward and I land on the floor right next to Noah and Tara.
"I got loads of stuff, it'll be nice for the party." I told Noah and Tara, opening the bag for their eyes. Tara smiled, extending a fist out towards me. I fist pumped her back, smiling as well.
"She had to waste her time on Barbie dolls! Wow Jillian, real smart." Nicholas spat. His hands tightened around the steering wheel as he came around a sharp corner.
My eyes rolled, "I suggest you shut up, and these aren't 'Barbie Dolls' there gifts. If your going to try an insult me, then at least get your facts right." I suggested, snapping the bag closed once again.
Maggie and Glenn were staring at me, giggling a tiny bit. I couldn't help but smile, for once people were on my side.
Nicholas glared at me from the review mirror. He sent up the middle finger, quickly putting it back down as Aiden stared at him.
"I can't wait for the party tonight," Maggie spoke. "Theres gonna be booze!" She exclaims. Glenn pats her stomach, "Not tonight, y'know it'll interfere.." He nuzzled agaisnt her side, continuing to rub her stomach.
"Your pregnant?!" Noah, Tara and I shouted in sync. She nodded her head, nonchalantly.
"Yeah I am. Shocker. We were gonna tell everyone at the party so please don't tell anyone."
"Promise."

We hauled food, ammo, and weapons into our storage. Nicholas still looked mad asf but he needed to be put in his place. And I was the one to do it.
I waved goodbye to the others as I walked back towards my house.
The bag swung back and forth, creating a beat as it hit my thigh.
"Budda-bup-ba-dum.." I hummed quietly. "I'm lovin it." My stomach growled as I thought about McDonald's. Sure wish McDonald's still worked.
"I'm home, Michonne!" I shouted, closing the door behind me. I padded farther into the house, stopping at the kitchen.
"Carol? Your not Michonne." I stopped, pointing a questioning finger towards her.
"I know, but, Michonne was telling me how you guys haven't ate in a while."
"I ate before I went on a run this morning..?"
"No a real meal, like dinner." Carol walked towards me as she fluffled her apron.
"Well thanks anyways, uhm I'll take it to the party because, I'm not hungry what so ever."
Carol nodded in agreement, sighing to herself.
She waved me away as she walked out of my house. Going god knows where.
I sat down on the couch as I dumped the gifts down on the table.
Gifts of all sorts fumbled around, some nearly clinking to the ground. For Michonne--police badge.
For Rick--a police badge, since they both are police officers.
Maggie--a wedding band for Glenn.
Glenn--Necklace for Maggie.
Tara--Special knife.
Noah-- handgun holder because he doesn't have one.
Carl--new weapon belt.
Deanna--locket for her family pictures.
Jessie--a locket for her family.
Carol-- sleeve holder-- for her knife (wink+wink)

"Hope your all enjoying the party!" I shouted over the loud music. "Because I have gifts for some! Sorry if forgotten, i really am."
I smoothed my shirt down, while walking towards Michonne, Rick and Jessie.
"You guys happen to be on my list." I said, smiling towards them.
All of a sudden my hands felt extra clammy. Rick's blue eyes stares down at my body. I never really liked my body so when a man stared at my body it made me more self conscious.
I reach into my bag grabbing the two police badges. I hand one to Michonne then Rick, smiling awkwardly.
"I know there not amazing but, you needed this to be a real police."
Rick nodded, "Thank you, Lillian."
My name rolled of his tongue, my knees felt weak as I turned to Jessie. I hand her the locket, smiling halfway.
She smiled at me, wrapping her arms around my body.
As I walked away I could see Rick putting the neckless on her neck.
There had to be something going on between them, and I was going to find out what.
