I AM SO SORRY THIS IS SO LATE IVE BEEN REALLY INACTIVE IM SORRYYYY
~SkyeMeanwhile, someone is there to find us. He had heard about the place and that it was haunted, and decided to investigate. A few friends said they would go with him, but all of them chickened out except for one, who is late for some reason. He decides not to wait for him. As he walks in the front door, already he gets an uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach, like someone has just punched him after he'd eaten a large meal. The walls are dusty and dressed with wisps of cobwebs. The only sound in the old building is his heart racing as he spots blood on one of the walls. He tries to focus on the history of the building to distract himself from the eerie environment.
The building had been used as a prison after it was first constructed, which is what it was originally built for. Then something happened. He can't quite remember, but it had to do somewhat with prisoners going missing and then turning up later in their cells, ripped to shreds. So the prison closed down and then reopened several decades later as a mental asylum. The patients there ended up going missing too. But they were never found. He remembers an old news clipping he read that said some speculated the missing patients got lost in the basements, which had been described as a labyrinth of sorts. The building closed after their last case, a little girl named Alice Liddell, was found mutilated in her room with no sign of anyone having got in. He remembers a story he heard about how sometimes you can hear her screams in the wind on the whole of the block.
He shivers. He wonders why he even came here in the first place. Then he thinks he hears the faint sound of tires on gravel, and a car pulling up to the drive. His jacket swished in the somewhat silent building as he turns and tries to find the doorway. It doesn't seem like he's been walking for that long, and he's been going straight, right? He begins to panic, then calms himself. Tino will find him. He's smart. At least the building is open and not stuffy or closed off, he thinks. He decides to wait at the end of the hall. Chances are Tino will have heard him by now anyways. Then something glints in the darkness (though what caused the light he didn't even think to wonder, for the halls were completely dark), and he sees a brass plate. A small cloud of dust emerges as he brushes it off. It's a floor number. He realizes it's on a door and peers through the window. It's completely dark. He shivers and puts his hand to his chest in a fist. He is wishing that he could see them again, and then reminding himself that Mathias, Berwald, and Emil are still with him in spirit. Little does he know how right he is.
