Chapter 4

I wake up in the morning to find Brendon beside me, with his arm thrown around me. Why is his arm around me?

I try to wiggle out of his arm without waking him up because he looks so peaceful when he sleeps.

I manage to get halfway out before Brendon wakes up and sees where his arm is.

"Oh god Cassandra I'm so so sorry, I didn't me-." I cut him off.

"No don't apologize it's fine." I said standing up.

I stand halfway up before he pulls me back to the bed and sits me back down.

"What are you doing?" I ask him.

Before he answers, he crashes his lips into mine for a good minute. I sit there in total shock before he says something.

"I want to take you somewhere today." he said.

"Like where?" I said in confusion.

"You'll see, just get ready. I'm gonna go by my house and get clothes on. Text me when you're ready and I'll come get you." He said putting his shoes on.

"Alright." I said, going into my closet to pick out clothes.

So, Brendon wants to take me somewhere. Looks like today ought to be interesting.

I go pick out my clothes. I choose a pair of denim shorts, a floral crop top and black hi-top converse. Before I change I go jump in the shower.

When I get out, I get a text.

Bden: Ready yet beautiful?

Me: Almost, you can go ahead and come back if you're ready.

Bden: alright, on my way

Me: okay see you

Bden: bye

*end of text*

After texting Brendon I quickly put my hair in a waterfall braid and swipe on some makeup.

I hear a knock at the door. I figure it's Brendon so I go downstairs. It's Damon, Anna, and Dani! They're back!

"Guys, you're back! Where've you been?" I said hugging all of them.

"Well we went out to eat, then figured we'd go to the casino and try our luck and we drank a little bit so we just slept in a hotel." Dani said walking inside, Damon and Anna following.

"You guys had me worried. Where's Bryson?" I asked shutting the door, but as soon as I go to shut it someone opens it back up, pushing against my hand. It's Brendon.

"OH. MY. GOD. YOU'RE BREDON FUCKING URIE." Dani said almost hyperventilating.

"Why yes I am. Who are you?" Brendon said laughing.

"Uhh... I'm Uhh," Dani said stuttering.

"She's one of my best friends that lives with me, that's Annaleigh and Damon. My other two best friends that live with me." I said.

"Thanks Cass. I'm just nervous that you're actually in our house," Dani said. "wait speaking of that, what are you doing in here?"

"Well, I'm taking Cassandra out. We met at my concert last night and I slept over here last night." Brendon said.

"Oooo get it Cass." Dani, Damon, and Anna said in unison.

"Shut up guys." I said.

"Ready to go?" Brendon said, opening the door.

"Yep. I am," I said, walking out. "Bye guys! I called to everyone."

"Soooo, where are we going?" I said walking to his car. It was a 2016 yellow Chevrolet Camaro. It was beautiful.

"I made reservations at a resturaunt and then I'm taking you to Hot Topic." Brendon said starting the car.

"No way!" I said, gasping.

"Yep. Get ready for a day of fun, and I'm paying for it all." He said.

"I'm not letting you buy my stuff at Hot Topic." I said.

"Well I'm not letting you pay for it." He said.

"Ughhhhh." I said in frustration.

Brendon just smiled. God he's so cute.

*1 hour later*

As we're sitting at the restaurant, I notice some girls staring at me and Brendon.

"Uh, Brendon, who are those girls?" I said pointing to them.

He turns around to look at them and they look at him and start to get up.

They're coming over here.

"Hey Brenny," She says seductively, "who's the slut?" She looks at me in disgust.

"My girlfriend. What's it to you, bitch?" He says grabbing my hand from across the table.

"What the fuck ever." She says as she stomps away.

"Uh, Brenny," I say mocking her, "who was that?"

"My ex-girlfriend. Ariana. We broke up 2 months ago and everytime she's sees me she tries to seduce me and get me to go back out with her. Sorry I said you were my girlfriend,  I didn't know what else to say to make her go away." He said.

"It's fine. It caught me off guard though." I said, eating my food.

"Sorry. I'd love to not have to lie about that though." He says, laughing.

"Maybe one day we can make that happen. But we just met like yesterday." I said.

"Yeah.. I guess your right.." He said with a little bit of dissappointment in his voice.

*later that day*

After we left Hot Topic, we went back to my apartment.

"Hey, I'm staying again tonight. Okay? Okay." Brendon said.

"Okay. You're gonna have to sleep with me again, you good with that?" I asked him.

"Defintely." He said winking.

I just laughed.

At about 12 A.M me and Brendon we're laying in my bed.

"I had fun today. Thank you so much." I say, turning my head to face Brendon.

"No problem. It was my pleasure. I was serious about what I said earlier at the resturaunt." He said.

"I know. So was I, maybe one day." I said.

"I really like you Cassandra." He said.

"I really like you too, Brendon." I said, smiling at him knowing he can't see me.

"Goodnight beautiful." He said sweetly.

"Goodnight." I said drifting off to sleep.
