Piper POV
I woke up to a soft beeping sound. Was it time for school already? I thought we were on spring break. I opened my eyes to a bright room. That was strange. This didn't look like my bedroom at all.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
Why wouldn't my alarm clock shut up already?
I sat up and looked around. This was definitely not my bedroom. Was this a-no. It couldn't be. That wouldn't make any sense.
"Good morning, Piper!" An unfamiliar lady was in my room. "You're in the hospital. You were in an accident. You're going to be fine. In just a few minutes we'll get you off these monitors and you can see your mom."
Hospital? What had happened to me? Where was Dad? I wanted Dad.
"What about Dad? Can I see Dad?"
The nurse was quiet.
"What about Henry? Can I see him?" I started to feel panicked.
"Shhh, Piper." My monitor was beeping like crazy. "Don't worry. Just relax."
"I want Henry! I have to see Henry! Please, you have to let me see him!"
"Piper, if you don't calm down we'll have to sedate you."
"Henry!"
I felt a sharp pain in my arm. Then it all went black.
