Chapter 1

SABINE
    We get to school, and go about our day, 7th period ended school just let out so I was walking to my car from my locker, I was going to meet Ace at my place at 7:00pm and it was only 3:30 so I had some time to kill.
As I'm walking to my car Thomas stops me and says, "wow you do look good red lace". It didn't take me long to figure out what he was talking about. "How the hell?" "I have my ways" Thomas said a grin tugging at his lips. "Whatever Creep. It was a rhetorical question." I increased my walking speed hoping to to get to my car as soon as my feet could take me. "Sabine! Wait up." Thomas says jogging towards me. "I have a message for you its from Melanie." he said, nervousness laced throughout his voice.
Mind you Melanie and I have been enemies since the 2nd grade. So what the hell kind of message would that bitch have to pass on to me?
"What is it then? Spit it out!" He didn't say anything, he came closer to me making me bump into a fellow classmates car. "Thomas this isn't funny let me go!" "I'm sorry Sabine, I don't want to do this, but I have to." Thomas said continuing to beat me up. Two guys come up behind me in dark clothing and masks and beat me till I could no longer breathe.
I see the two male figures that beat me go on the other side of the van we were next to, they were conversing with Thomas. Blake and Lucas some of my most trustworthy friends, see me collapsed on the parking lot floor. They run up to me and bend down hoping to be able to help. I wasn't conscious, but I came to shortly after they had gotten to me. I wake up being in Lucas' arms, he was carrying me to his car. He kept whispering, "It's going to be okay." But honestly I don't know if anything was okay. I trusted them completely, they were both the closet friends of Ace and I. Ace is my boyfriend we've been together for 4 years now.
I spot the two men that had beaten me, they cams up behind Lucas and threw me from Lucas' arms to the parking lot floor. My back erupted with pain. One of the males had picked me up, from the parking lot floor, and threw me into a van close by. Which only made my back pain worse. I heard the beating of Lucas and Blake, soon after I heard that, they were put in the van as well.
When the van started to pull out I see Ace, I start banging on the Windows, trying desperately to catch his attention. Thankfully I do catch his attention, he goes up to the van. I can't hear his voice through the windows. Then the van takes off at an alarming speed. I see Ace jump in his car, I knew that he wouldn't be safe if he followed, that's when I remembered that I had my phone in my back pocket, I texted him

Me: don't follow!these people are not safe.

Ace: I have 2 what if something bad happens to you!!!

Me: Nothing will...

Ace: What's Happening??!!

Ace:Tell Me I need to Know?!?!

Me: Hey Ace its Blake I'm texting you because Sabine is unable to text at the moment. -Blake

Ace: What happened to her, is she okay?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Me: I honestly don't think so, one of the guys that was in the front, saw that she had her phone. Once the van had come to a stop the man jumped out. He came and opened Sabine's door, and took, or should I say dragged her out by her neck. He held her up against the van by her neck, then just threw her back in here. It looks like she's not breathing. Lucas and I are tied up so we can't reach her. -Blake

Ace: please tell me your joking

Me: No I'm not. Sorry dude. I'm really worried. -Blake

Ace: No No I Can't Lose Her, not now.

BLAKE

Lucas, there's a Swiss Army knife in my pocket, try and slide it out then push it towards my hands, I think I have enough room, to cut my way out of these ropes. Lucas ends up being able to slide it towards me, He says "you better Sabine looks as though she's getting deathly pale." I know and if we make it out of this and Sabine doesn't you know Ace will have our asses I say with concern in my voice. I manage to grab the knife and put it into the position to cut the ropes, I run the blade against the rope, and after what had seemed like forever I finally make a slight cut into the rope. Just then I hear a deep voice coming from the front screaming WHAT?!?!?!?!? YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO KILL HER IDIOT!!!! A man got out of the car, opened the door and got Sabine and put her into the trunk I couldn't see much, but from what I heard it sounded as though he was giving her CPR after a while, I hear Sabine coughing and I look to Lucas to find both of us letting out a huge sigh of relief.
