UNEDITED Sorry for any mistakes.
I looked around the room, watching out for security. I had ten minutes tops to get this job done. I heard a door opening then I dropped to the ground, hiding. I saw a pair of feet walk by and stop in front of my face.
"I taught you how to pick locks and this is how you're using that skill?" The man I used to call my best leaned down and looked at me.
"Maybe, maybe not?" I stood up with his help, "I'm thankful that was you and not anyone else, Simon."
"No problem Liz." He brushed off his hand, taking a gun out. "Ready?"
"Uhhh yeah, I'm ready but I before I came in here I may of 'accidentally' pick pocketed the president.?" I wring my hands together looking at the ground.
His eyes widened, "What do you mean 'you accidentally pick pocketed the president of the United States?!" He was almost yelling at me.
"Shhh, keep it down, we are still in the white house." I grabbed my gun, "Let's just go." I sneaked down the hall towards the exit where I thought the least amount of security would be by now. I turned around the corner, running smack into a wall, or what looked like a wall. It ended up being a guy, around 26 years old, about a year older then me.
He turned around and looked at me, he cocked his head to the side, "Who are you and why are you wearing all black?" He had moved his hand to his side, which I was guessing was probably a gun there. So I turned on the water works.
"I-I got lost trying to use the washroom and I didn't know where to go, and I get really scared in big places. I had came here for a business meeting with my dad to learn what he did and how to do so I could keep the company going." I had moved to put my gun away so he wouldn't notice, which he didn't, I think.
He smiled slightly, resting his hands back at his side, "Okay, follow me, I'll take you to the meeting room." He lead me towards a huge room where people were in, I peaked from behind him and looked in, I had saw the president looking absolutely flustered.
"How is it gone?! I just had it!" He was walking around the room, throwing his arms up.
My eyes widened and I kinda just stopped. The security guard looked at him then at me frozen, "Ma'am, do you know what he is talking about?" I slowly shook my head.
"I'm going to ask you again, do you know what he is talking about?" We both had moved our hands to our guns. "Stop moving right now."
My little innocence wiped off and I smirked, "Or what are you gonna do, shoot me?" My hair had fallen over my right eye, not really blocking eyesight since I was blind in that eye.
He took his gun out, so did I just as quickly. "I can match what you do." I cocked my head to the right.
"I doubt you can," he moved his gun to point at me quickly. I had moved it just as quickly.
I looked at my watch, seeing 1:48 on it. "Crap, I have less then two minutes." I turned to run, knowing the guy would shoot, so I ducked, but the bullet hit my arm and I screamed in pain. Simon rounded the corner and saw the security guard and shot him in the chest three times. He dropped to the ground.
Simon grabbed me and helped me run out. "How long?"
I looked to my watch, "0:58."
He cursed and picked me over his shoulder and ran out the door, in less then ten seconds to go, he threw me behind a truck and told me to cover my head. He laid over me and protected my body and his head.
My watch struck zero as the white house exploded. I took a deep breath and Simon got off of me.
He sighed, "Liz, please tell me you have those files?" I smirked again and took them out of my little bag.
"I do have them, and that is how I accidentally on purpose pick pocketed the president of the United States of America."
I got up off the ground and skipped towards my black '67 Chevy Impala across the street.
