I yawned, unsure why I was up this early, oh wait, the doorbell rang. I went to the front door and opened it, someone, a certain red headed someone named Lily barged in.

She looked around the house with a look of disgust on her face, "Your home is a wreck, you could've at least cleaned the kitchen." She started to clean up bottles of booze and red solo cups.

I looked around and silently agreed with her, I had a party the night before and hadn't cleaned up yet. "Had I known I was gonna have guests at three o'clock in the morning, I'm sure I would've."

She smiled sheepishly realizing what time it was, "Oops?" she had always been a night owl, ever since we were little.

"Well I'm going to bed. If you're staying you know where the couch is." I waved to her and walked to my room, taking my shirt off and leaving me in just my boxers.

In the morning I walked into the kitchen to pour myself some cereal when I saw Lily, "You're still here? And you're making pancakes?"

She turned around and frowned, "They're waffles, stupid."

I threw my hands up in surrender and she giggled, then went back to making pancakes, I'm sorry, waffles.

"So what are you doing back in town? I thought you had a job where you were?"

"Yea... About that.. I love but hate my job now."

"How's that Lils?"

"Devon, have you ever killed someone? I went from a girl who would never hurt a fly, to wanting to learn how to kill but not knowing, to know how to make dying hurt." she crossed her arms and almost looked like she was about to cry.

I went over to her and wrapped my arms around her, "Lily, you are one of the greatest assassins there are, you should be proud of your work!"

"Yeah, yeah, I know, but sometimes I question why I got into this business." She shook her head. "But I gotta go anyways, I'm only here for a job." She muttered under her breath as she got ready, "Besides, Stay low, go fast. Kill first, die last." She paused changing into all black, 'One shot, one kill. Not luck, all skill."

"I'll call you when the job is gone alright?" I nodded and she kissed my cheek and waved, walking out the door. I waved back with a smile on my face.

"Good luck Lily! Love you!"

"Love you too, loser!" I chuckled as she left.

Lily had been following this guy for a few days now, two days she thought. She was just about to do her job when she heard a gunshot and a sharp pain shot through her abdomen. She gasped as she felt the blood dripping down her body and already feeling weak.

A man chuckled behind her, "Lily Adams, you think I haven't notice you following me the past two days?  You must think I'm crazy, I always know who is near me." Her target smirked, a gun in his hand.

She took a deep breath and quickly took her own gun out and turning around quickly, shooting him right through his skull. Lily soon collapsed on the ground.

She pulled out her phone and called his number, by the second ring he picked up, "Hello?"

Her breathing was labored, "Hey, Danny, it's Lily." She flinched, holding her wound.

~~~~~~~~
"Lily? Hey, how'd the job go?" I smiled, hearing her voice.
"It went well, target is dead. I don't think you'll see me for awhile though. I uh, have to go away for a bit. But I love you and hope to see you soon."
I frowned, "Okay I love you too Lily and hopefully I'll see you soon."
~~~~~~

She smiled but soon felt very weak. "I gotta go Danny." She hung up and dropped the phone, not enough blood in her anymore.

~~~~~
"Lily? Lily?" I sighed, she must of really had to go if she just ended the call like that.
