Escape

Finally.

As we walked further down the hallway , I felt my body start to tremble. I could hear my heart beat out of my chest. Once we reached the door , I typed the pin in. I opened the door and I let the other two girls go first , then 398 followed. 

I took one last look back and saw a dark figure facing us from the other end of the hallway. I squinted my eyes and saw it hold something up at us. Then I noticed what it was. 

I tried to get a hold of Isabelle , then " BOOM" . 

I looked down at Isabelle , she was bleeding from her leg .Isabella let out a blood icing scream, she fell to the floor and grabbed her leg.I picked her up and ran out the door , letting the door slam shut.

 From the other side I could hear the men yelling and a girl scream.

 But I wasn't focused on that.

I had to get them out, I take Isabelle to the car... she has to live. Isabelle has to live.

 The other girls saw Isabelle and started to panic . "Oh my god!" screamed 398.

 " Run !" I yelled as I ran ahead. The forest was dark and my feet and arms were being cut by branches. Isabelle was screaming of pain and gripping onto my neck. The other girls soon passed me as my body got weaker.

Her leg was still bleeding. I ripped my dress enough to wrap around her leg with. When I rapped it , I stood up and looked at the river. It didn't look that deep. " We can't waste any more time. " I said. The girls got up from the ground. I went to Isabelle , I placed two fingers on her wrist . Her heart beat was becoming weaker. I picked her up and walked to the river. As I stepped in I got a cold shiver up my spine. It was freezing cold. The girls followed me across and we walked further into the woods. We walked for what seemed like forever.

Suddenly we saw a light moving back and forth. " That's the others. " I whispered. The girls started to run towards it and I tried to keep up. Once we reached them , they all gasped in shock. Before any one could say anything , I said " We must keep going. " as I cleared my throat. I started to walk and the others followed. No one spoke.
Not until we started to see a clear in between the trees. We started to walk faster , once I saw a light. I ran , the girls did the same. As I got closer I saw a huge van. The lights were on and someone was inside. I stopped before stepping onto the dirt road. The girls stopped behind me. We were silent. It was right there. But my body started to go numb. Isabelle's grip on me was gone . " Okay. " I said as I took a step. I heard the door open and out came Sara. My eyes teared up at seeing her. " She's hurt. " was all I could say. Sara quickly took Isabelle from my arms and handed her to someone in the van. " Where are the others? " she asked. I turned around and waved my hand. The girls started to walk towards me and Sara. " They are coming. " I said . " Then let's go " said Sara . She began to load the girls into the van. Then she looked at me signaling that it was my turn. I took one last look back and went inside. I sat next to the man holding Isabelle. Sara followed me in and closed the door. " Go. " commanded Sara. The van went. As I looked around the girls were still in a shocked state but after a while they started to drift off into sleep one by one. I however couldn't sleep. Isabelle was injured and I couldn't stop thinking about what just happened. Who was that figure? What is going to happen to Isabelle? My mind was in a daze. We drove for hours and I finally saw the sun rise again. It was so beautiful.

After a while of seeing the sun go up , I fell asleep. This time my body didn't curl up into a ball or fight my thoughts.
