Sherlock frowned. "Well that was stupid of him. Why the he'll did he do that?"

Lestrade shrugged. "I don't know. But this isn't as simple as it looks is it?"

Sherlock shook his head. "He's up to something."

But what?

"Have you interviewed him?"

"We did but he didn't say much. He just kept saying on thing."

"What? What did he say?"

"Get Sherlock."

Sherlock made a face. "Ooh, he's repeating himself. Really not very creative. Well shall we give him what he wants then?"

"Is that a good idea?" John questioned.

"Is anything we do a good idea, Doctor Watson?" Sherlock replied.

"He's got you there." Added Mary.

Sherlock stood and grabbed his favourite coat. "Off to work we go, then"

Sherlock, John and Mary walked into the police station, excitement and fear in their hearts. Lestrade stopped them outside the interview room.

"He's in here. There isn't really anywhere else for you to talk. Now are you sure you want to do this?"

"I'll be fine. John, Mary, you stay here."

John frowned. "Sherlock-"

"I'll be fine" Sherlock said abruptly. He opened the door and stepped inside, closing it behind him.

He turned around.

"You look nice." Sherlock said.

Moriarty looked up. He was wearing a black and white tuxedo. "Thank you." He said.

"How did you get them to let you wear that?"

"I can be a very persuasive person."

"I know."

Moriarty paused. Then he gestured to the chair in front of him. "Sit down."

Sherlock made his way forward and sat. He looked at Moriarty. Then he said, "Why are you here?"

Moriarty smiled. "Because I handed myself in. I thought you knew that Sherlock."

"You know what I mean. Why did you hand yourself in?"

Moriarty leaned forward.

"Because I can Sherlock. Because I want you to know that I can beat you at anything, in any situation."

Sherlock looked at him for a long time. "How do you plan to do that?"

Moriarty grinned. "Well you'll have to wait and see, won't you?"

Sherlock paused. Then he stood and walked towards the door.

"Say hello to John for me."

Sherlock paused with his hand on the door knob. Then he opened the door and left the room. He took a shaky breath and met John's eyes, trying hard to stay calm.

"Well? What did he say?" Asked John.

"He says hi." Sherlock said bluntly.

John raised his eyebrows. "Anything else?"

"Yes. He said he had to...prove something out me." Sherlock frowned. "I need to go home."

"Do you want us to come?" Asked Mary, her voice ringing with concern.

"No I'll be fine", said Sherlock, and without turning around, he left the building and made his way back to 221B Baker Street.
