Cass' POV

Me and Dipper decided to go to my room after our 'I miss you-s' and 'I miss you too-s' downstairs with mom. He was lying on my blue bed and guess what, he was already sleeping. I guess he is really tired from all that he did during the day. I don't understand though, because it's just 11:32 am in the morning.

I am sitting on my couch next to my book shelf. And yes, I have a couch, in case you're wondering.
And it is blue, too. My hazel colored eyes are fixed on my phone. I am extremely bored. I got nothing to do but to scroll on my news feed in facebook.

Until something caught my attention.

Something that is absolutely surprising.

Who else could it be? Definitely my ex boyfriend and yep, you guessed it right. His new girlfriend. It is a picture of them hugging. My face changed from a wide smile, to a miserable expression. Dipper suddenly woke up when he heard a little sob from me. I quickly wiped all the 7 tears in my face ( i counted it ) before he finds out that I was crying. He sat down on my side and placed his arm on my shoulder.

"You awake?" I asked him. "Isn't it obvious?" he chuckled. "Why are you crying little baby?" he teased. "I am NOT crying Dip." How did he know that I was crying? Is he also a wizard of some kind? "Come on Cass. I know that you and your boyfriend already broke up. And also, I know that you are crying over that picture of them hugging." he said while pointing at my phone.
"How did y-" "How the hell do I know it? Please. Don't you remember? I introduced him to you. And it's all my fault why you're crying next to me now." he said.

He removed his hand from my shoulder and stood up. "It's not your fault." I said softly. "I shouldn't have done that." he said while getting to the door. "Done what?" I asked. Before Dipper went outside, he muttered something I couldn't hear.

Ughhh.

I don't know if he is mad at me or what. Sometimes, he could really be like that.

Anyway, I decided to go out of my room too and eat lunch. Since it is already 12:04 in the afternoon. My tummy started to grumble when I was walking down the stairs. I saw Dipper eating at the table with my mom. I sat down with them as quiet as possible.

Woah. I can feel the awkwardness.

When I finished eating, I headed outside our house. I don't know why I did this, but it felt like I was being controlled. Like if someone is controlling me like a toy. I went to the park without even noticing and tripped on a large stone. "Sheesh. That hurts." I looked at my leg and saw a small red scratch there. I'll just ignore that.

Again, I continued walking until I reached the place where the benches are. I sat down for a while and listened to the cute chirps of birds which seems like that they are singing. Until the chirps of the birds turned to a human voice. A guy's voice. I got shocked by the fact that,

"I can understand what birds say!"

I heard it chuckled after I said that. You know what? Hehe. Just proud of myself here that I got cool hearing powers and-- "You don't have powers, stupid" I turned around to see who it really is.

Oh. *facepalm*

"So it's just you. Hey Dipper." I am very embarassed. I shouldn't have said that silly thing. "So...is it just you here? Or maybe with someone else?..." I said. I am making sure if there are other people with him. "Nope. Just me." he said while smiling. Wait a minute, I know that kind of smile. "Hey Dipper..." I glared at him. With a grin he replied, "Yes Cass?" "Mind if I check your phone?" I asked. "Okay you got me. Yes, I recorded it...But there is no way you are going to delete it!" He laughed and ran away from me.

I ran and tried to catch him as fast as I can. I will never let him tell to other people and let them hear what I just said there!

"I can understand what birds say!"

Oh God. I followed him until we reached our house. I tried to get his phone and luckily, I had it in my hands. Hehehe. Lucky me.

Before deleting my recorded voice, I turned to find Dipper but he is not with me anymore. Maybe he is already inside. I stepped inside our house, slipped my feet in my cute elmo slippers with huge eyes ( it gives me nightmares. but it is still adorable ) and went to the kitchen to find Dipper.

I walked closer and saw him standing still. Perfectly still. I noticed his face that he was looking at something. I faced to where he was staring and---

I dropped Dipper's phone. Shocked at what I am seeing.

My tears started to fall down at my face one by one.

This can't be happening.

No.

Mom is dead.
