Episode 43: Helping out Seabreeze! Into the streets of Am Hof

June 7, 1800 Ambersberg

Daniel was already up in the streets of Am Hof quickly, he was going to meet another high ranked marine out here with work that he'll help out with. Justin Seabreeze was a corporal waiting for him to arrived in Am Hof, once he saw him they get to work on this place. This street wasn't what it used to be a while back before all this, in Ambersberg this place was one of the safest streets you can walk down and enjoy the weather. Yet remembering will have to wait now that Daniel has arrived, his work will be cut out for him since this place is quite big.

|There you are I was waiting for you to show up now, yes I am Corporal Seabreeze that you speak of I hope we don't need any more introductions. Am Hof has gotten bad every since this darkness came here, who commands them is yet to be determined just yet for the moment. I've been doing my best trying to clean this street up from top to bottom Daniel, I'm afraid that even with my brigade I cant do it on my own. This is where your going to be earning your keep around here, we need to gather some clues or a clue to find out who's causing all of this hardship here. You might have to fight some enemies in order to find something, you should fight the Sandlings, Ravens, and Slashers. I don't know which of those three groups have something in use of us. So fight them all until you do indeed find something we can use on them, you might not be able to find anything in one of the groups. You may have to fight all tree until you do indeed get much needed clues, that will be easier said than done for you in a moment. They are good fighters so I don't know what to expect from them, yet you shouldn't have too much trouble with them Daniel. Hmm you better get started I just heard some glass breaking, I'll be here when I do indeed see any trouble happening.| Saluting Daniel left to fight some enemies.

Now fighting on group of baddies is quite hard enough, but fighting three groups is a whole different story my friends. This is going to take him a long time for him to find something important, so he better get started quickly before something else happens out here. After an hour and a half he did find something on the Slashers and that's it, this was some type of strange writing on it that he doesn't know about. Now Corporal Seabreeze knows the Ambersberg language quite well, so he went to him to see what he can make of this paper. Once he handed it to him he could read a good bit of the writing, yet there was also a secret language that he didn't even know about. Seems to me that these guys don't want the marines to know a little bit of their work, well that shouldn't be a problem he knew a childhood friend out here to help them out.

|I know some of this wording Daniel it has something to do with an hideout, however the rest I don't happen to know that much of I'm afraid. I've been noticing them using different languages to keep us off of their tail, yet if I had to guess I say this handwriting is in Crowdish the ethnic group of crows that live here. I happen to know a good friend of my named Nathanial Gottfired, he lives just down the street from here you cant miss it. If he ask tell him his buddy Justin Seabreeze needed some help, he'll gladly aid you with this paper you've gotten from them. Trust me he wants these guys off the streets as much as you do, get going now you've have a lot of work to do along with him.| saluting Daniel left to find this Nathanial Gottfired person.

Walking down the street he saw Nathanial Gottfired standing outside his home, once he saw Daniel he knew that a marine needed help with a few things. Yet when Daniel told him about Justin Seabreeze he gladly help out, they've been good friends every since they were children so I know in his heart that he has good intentions.

|Oh hello you must be a marine here to help out around here, so I see Justin Seabreeze sent you here for a little help out here. Well I couldn't be happier to help my old friend out, he done a lot for me so I want to return the favor for him. The shadow five is dangerous I know full well of that, one time my friends and I where sailing home after getting a well rounded thanks from good people in another world. Then we were attack by the shadow five they demanded us to give them our jewels, luckily Justin came with a few friends to drive them away from our ship. Now I bet they have there henchmen here causing chaos while they try to regroup, I heard that you defeated some Slashers out here getting this clue. Well you might have to fight the brutes in order to get another piece of the puzzle, when I mean brutes I mean the Raging Brutes that are just down the street. They are a little tougher than Slashers so be careful down there, one you get something come back to me I'll see what that things can tell us. Trust me there must be something that helpful for us if they don't want us to have it, don't worry I'll be here if you need any help just watch out for the brutes heavy blow attacks.| Daniel left the area to find some of those Raging Brutes.

Daniel couldn't believe that they were nearly at Richard Hawkeye, yet he didn't want to stay far from the mission he was doing. Fighting this guys might be a bit of a pain for him at the moment, yet he had to find something on them to help out with finding the person causing trouble. Once he found the brutes he knew that they were already set for him, this wasn't going to be easy for him one bit since they are buccaneers. Yet there was not time for him to think about what to call them, after a hour he did indeed find something that was going to be useful in finding the leader here. Going back to the spot where Nathanial Gottfired is he wanted to see if he knows something, so giving him the piece of paper he examined it greatly. Giving Daniel a smile he knew they have found the guy responsible, now all Daniel has to do is to get rid of him quickly.

|Nice work, Daniel! You've finally given me a good clue to work with my friend, it seems that someone is indeed controlling the forces out here. Anthony Adalbrecht knows Richard Hawkeye very well so you might want to be careful, he might be a swashbuckler like Richard this might keep you on your toes. He his located in a tower not far from this place where we stand, I don't know what he has planned for us when he finishes things out here. However I do know that we got to get him out of here fast, no telling what he'll do to you once he finds out you ruined his plans. Oh by the way I also wanted to add a bit of warning too, you see when you attack him he will us cheats to get the edge on you. Take out his henchman first since he'll cheat if you attack him, once there out the way he wont be able to use those abilities when there gone. He's a trickster and will do anything to win if necessary Daniel, so please make sure that you have your brigade with you at all coast. You better get going so you can get him out of the way my friend, don't worry I'll go tell my friend Justin Seabreeze about this. I'm sure that he'll be very pleased to know that you've been doing some good work, just be careful you'll never know what he can do to you.| Daniel left the area to find Anthony Adalbrecht.

This wasn't going to be an easy task for him now, and he doesn't like the swashbuckler bosses too much. The armor piercing on this boss might be high so he going to need his brigade big time here, Daniel just hopes that he wont get dinged up like the last time he fought a swashbuckler. Reaching the tower he found it to be abandoned heavily, yet that was a good place to hide if you were a swashbuckler. Going inside he saw that this might get a little rough for him, he took heed of the warning Nathaniel Gottfired gave him about Anthony Adalbrecht. He had to do something different in this battle there about to take, for starters they may have to attack a henchman one at a time to get rid of him easily. After a good hour and a half he finally defeated Anthony Adalbrecht, going back to the spot where Nathaniel Gottfired was he notice someone else there. It was his higher rank Corporal Justin Seabreeze taking his place, I guess Gottfired did tell him about the work he's done out here.

|Good work, Daniel! You've earned you keep out here by defeating Anthony Adalbrecht, and you even got the scares to prove it. Now with him gone Am Hof is finally back to its old self again, the people will feel much better knowing the shadow five lost its grip here. However your not done yet I'm afraid you still have work to do, now that you've helped us out a bit go help Sergeant Charles Swiftwillow in Habsburgerring. That place has been through a lot I've be told by one of the citizens here, and I also here Richard Hawkeye was last seen there so you best to get moving. Yet I'm not sending you there in your condition, your already banged up going there now is a death sentence. Besides its already late I can see the sun setting right now, I know there a rest area you can sleep off your bruises tonight. Once you get up report to Charles Willowsmith in the morning at Habsburgerring, he'll tell you what you can do to help out there...Dismissed!| Daniel saluted as he went off to rest for the night.

Patrick closed the book on another chapter since he had to go to school, what dangers await the marines are yet to be seen...perhaps allowing the fog to clear might be our best solution.
