Sherlock lets yet another spell fly out from the end of his wand, this time nearly hitting another person walking into the Ravenclaw dorm. They duck quickly and cower away from Sherlock. Sherlock continues to lie on his bed.
"What do you think you're doing?" The voice of his archenemy calls, striding into the room.
"Get out, Mycroft, you don't belong in here." Sherlock calls. "This room is for fifth years."
"Yes well, if you weren't terrorizing your bunk mates I wouldn't be in here." Mycroft responds.
"I'm not terrorizing, I'm bored. And you don't need to coddle me." Sherlock sighs.
"I'm not coddling, I'm taking care of you like a brother should." Mycroft rolls his eyes. Sherlock stands suddenly.
"Where are you going?" Mycroft asks as Sherlock leaves the room. Sherlock doesn't answer, instead he goes down the spiraling staircase to the common room. He glances around at all the simple minded people within. They're all boring.
"Sherlock Holmes." A shrill voice announces.
"Hello, Mrs. Hudson," Sherlock nods to the approaching woman.
"That's headmistress to you, young man." Mrs. Hudson lightly scolds.
"I hear you are terrorizing your bunk mates again." She sighs. "Let's go to my office."
Sherlock, with nothing better to do, follows her to her office. She sits behind her desk. A sixth year prefect for Ravenclaw, Mike Stamford is also in the room. Sherlock moves around the room, looking over Mrs. Hudson's things.
"I don't think you should be staying in the Ravenclaw dorm anymore." She says finally.
"You're seeing someone," he says aloud.
"What?" She looks confused.
"The necklace you're wearing, it's new, must be a gift of some sort. You are wearing perfume, normally you do not, I'm guessing you saw him this morning, especially since there are two cups of cold coffee sitting on your desk, and there's a half eaten toast with apricot jelly, I know for a fact you hate apricots." Sherlock takes a seat in front of her desk. "You were saying."
"Right, um, yes, I don't think you should be staying in the Ravenclaw dormitory anymore."
"Why not?" Sherlock folds his arms.
"You put your bunk mates in danger. Everyone fears you, even the sixth and seventh years."
"Not to mention your violin playing at any hour and you odd collection of bones and dead things." Mike adds.
"They're just imbeciles, with a lack if music taste." Sherlock says simply.
"Sherlock, I think it would be best if you got your own rooms." Mrs. Hudson continues.
"Absolutely not," Sherlock looks at her.
"Despite my knack for making people dislike me, I need people. I have to have someone to compare my massive intelligence to." Sherlock puts his feet up on her desk.
"Fine, I will find a student brave enough to room with you, but I'm sure it won't be easy." Mrs Hudson sighs.
"Of course it won't, who'd want me as a room mate?" Sherlock scoffs.
"You'd be surprised," Mike speaks up.
"We already have a room set up for you, if you go back to your room and pack your things, Mr. Stamford will escort you to your new room, room 221B on Baker Hall." Mrs. Hudson suggest.
