6) Party

I told my mom to quickly start driving. As we were driving home, I asked her "Why'd I have to go back to school on a Friday? I could've waited until Monday" "It's ok sweetie you got through it" she said "Barely" I said rolling my eyes. 

Once we got home, I went to my room and went on twitter.  Serena posted about me again. 

Serena: Aww poor Emily. Apparently someone rigged her locker with itching powder. I don't know who did it but whoever did is very smart.                                                                                                                              I didn't want to reply because I didn't want to get hurt. Well, at least it's a weekend.                                     Just then my brother barged in. "I'm going to a party and I want you to come with me" Austin said "Why, who's party?" I asked "My friend from high school and his brother Taylor is inviting a lot of people from your school" "Um Taylor is his brother?" "Yeah why?" "Nothing, I don't think I want to go" "Come on this is a chance for you to make friends" "Ok fine, but what time is it at, i'm gonna take a while to get ready." "7:00 so you have 3 hours to get ready" "That's not enough" I joked while he left. Well i'm gonna rest for an hour then i'll get ready. So I set an alarm for 5:00.

I woke up 5 minutes before my alarm went off so I turned it off. I got up to take a shower. Went the cold water hit me I remembered that there was still itching power on me but not a lot. So it only stung in the few places where there was itching powder left. 

I got out of the shower brushed my hair dried it then straightened it. I tried to find a nice dress to wear. I ended up wearing a dress where the bottom is red and the top is white laced. Red high heels, a red ring, and a gold necklace. I also had a red clutch to match and to hold my phone and makeup. (The whole outfit pictured above) Then I put on gold eye shadow, mascara, pink blush, and red lipstick. It took me only an hour to get ready, new record! Now it is 6:00 so the party starts in an hour. I went downstairs and my brother said, "You look nice" "Thanks" Nikki came up to me and said "Have fun sis, but be careful" "Don't worry Austin will be with me." "Yeah". I wish Ali was here to see me but she is at college. So, I sent her a picture. Just then my mom came downstairs, "You look amazing honey have fun" "Thanks mom, I love you." "Love you too sweetie" 

It's 6:30 so we have to leave. "Bye" Austin and I said to everyone. We got into the car and the house was not that far so we got there fast. We walked in and I was really shy. I was trying my best not to get in people's way. Austin wanted to stay with me to make sure i'm ok. "Go hang out with your friends" I yelled over the loud music. "Are you sure" he yelled "Yes" And he went to his friends. There were so many people. I went to one of the corners where there were not to many people. I went to the bathroom. When I walked in i saw stalls. Gees this guy is so rich he has bathroom stalls at his house. I came out to the bathroom and went back to the corner. I saw Taylor. Ugh he's so beautiful. I wish he was mine. Then, he saw me looking at him. I quickly looked away thinking he would forget about it. But instead he started walking towards me. I though he was mad that I was staring at me. "Hi" he said "Hi" I said back.                                                                                                                                                                                    "You go to my school right?"                                                                                                                                                     "Yeah I'm in most of your classes"                                                                                                                                           "Cool, you know you are really beautiful"                                                                                                                   "Thanks" I said blushing         "Your even cuter when you blush" I blushed even more.                                  "Can I get your number?" He asked "Sure" After we gave each other our numbers he said "You know I have had a secret crush on you for a while" Really? Me too" I said "Taylor" One of his friends yelled "I have to go but i'll text you over the weekend" "K bye" I said smiling "Bye" He said.                                                     I had the biggest smile on my face. Then Austin came to me and asked why I was smiling so much. So I told him what happened and how we got each others numbers and stuff. "ooo Emily's got a boyfriend" "Shut up" I said hitting him "He's not my boyfriend he's just a friend" "For now, just wait until your even more" He said raising his eyebrows up and down. I hit him again and he went back to his friends. I hope we do get to be more than friends, I thought.

It's 12:00 and almost everyone left. We were about to leave when Taylor caught up to me. "I'll leave you to alone" Austin said winking "Did you have fun?" Taylor asked "Well if you call standing in the corner fun then yeah, but I loved talking to you" "Me too" he said 

Austin and I got into the car and he was making jokes about Taylor and I the whole way there. 

When we got home everyone was still awake waiting for us. Even Nikki, who usually sleeps early. So, Austin screamed "EMILY'S GOT A BOYFRIEND" "Shut up he's just a friend" I said irritated. "How nice sweetie" my mom said.  "Thanks mom but i'm really tired so i'm gonna go to bed" "ok goodnight" "night" 

I went upstairs to my room and took off all my makeup and put on pajamas. My pajamas are usually some shorts or sweatpants and a shirt. I layed down and fell into a deep...deep sleep.
