The girls ran screaming from the cabin, and the guys chased after their girlfriends. Everyone then heard a scream; the source of the scream was Dina. She found the remains of Eric and Calune with bite marks, missing flesh, and an acidic liquid hissing on the bodys. This was not the work of the bear.
The friends tried to call the police, but the cell towers were down for the week. So everyone returned to their cabins (still incredibly tense from what just happened) and tried to catch some shut-eye.
