"You guys are too cute." Brittany squealed while I hugged Andy. I pulled out of the embrace and turned to her.
"We're just friends Britt." I said narrowing my eyes at her. Yes I did have a little crush on Andy, but like I told Brittany, we're just friends. Although it would be nice to be more... Andy's voice caused me to turn my attention back to him, shattering my thoughts.
"Ash, can we talk for a minute?" He says looking shy. Awe how cute.
"Uh, yeah sure. Gimme a sec Britt." I said looking at Brittany. Andy started walking away and towards the lockers of the school hallways.
"What's up Andy?" I said worried. Andy kept his eyes everywhere but me. "Andy? What's wrong?"
His eyes met mine and he didn't say anything. We just sat there looking like complete idiots staring in the middle of a half empty school hallway.
His eyes flickered down to my lips but hurried up to my eyes again. Why is he acting this way?
"Andy?" I whispered as his face became inches away from mine. I was hushed by Andy's lips on mine. Our lips moved in sync. It felt like I was floating on cloud line in this amazing moment. If only this could last forever. Andy's tongue grazes my bottom lip for access. I accept his offer and slightly open my mouth. Our tongues battled for dominance but this time I let him win. Next time we kiss, I will beat him at this tongue war. Wait, will there even be a next time? We're just friends...Friends don't kiss like the way we are kissing right now. Andy pulls away from my lips and he puts our foreheads together, breathing rapidly.
"What was that?" I said looking in his eyes.
"A kiss?" He said in more of a question. What a smart ass.
"No, I mean why did you, well we, kiss?" I asked confused.
"Because I wanted to kiss you?"
"What are we then?" I whispered.
"Just friends." He whispered back in my ear. His hot breath on my neck made me get goosebumps. Wait, after that, we're just... friends? Really?
