Let’s get away. Only me and you. We’ll pack some clothes, grab a toothbrush, some money and nothing else. We’ll ride to nowhere. We’ll ride ‘til the sun comes down and we are too tired to keep our eyes open. We’ll watch the colors of the sky slowly change , hear the song of the wind, sing along with your sweeping guitar some rock ballads and fall asleep holding hands on some empty land, trying to figure out what to do next. Trying to figure ourselves out, somehow. Take our dreams and hopes and light them up in a big fire. And then, when the morning sun hits us with its light, we would get up and ride again until we find a cheap hotel where to spend the night, not having a care in the world what will happen to us the next day. And we would spend that night losing ourselves in each other, whispering and moaning and breathing together, under the white sheets and covers, taking our love and burying it beneath our skins. Then, the morning would hit us again and we would wake up crazy about each other as always, laughing and singing and making breakfast, joking around, playing video games, drinking at 3 in the afternoon and smoking our childish fears away. We’ll be happier than ever not believing in anything but our love. We’ll be happy silently fighting with what society does to the world. We’ll be happy going back to when things were simple and we could  be free and nobody would tell us what to do and how to smile and how to walk and talk.  We’ll be happy being as free as birds. I know we will. In the middle of the night I’ll sing you a lullaby and you’ll fall asleep in my small arms, what else would we need? I’m waiting for you to come and save me. Save me from the nothing I’ve become.
