Today is our first day of Yr6 at St. Deannaź. Aliver's mum, Wendy, came and picked me up at 8:40am in her new pearl white Mazda with shiny leather seats. On the way to school we saw other kids on the school bus. When we got to school we said our goodbyes and headed through the tall black metal school gates. The bell rang a few mintues later and we headed to the hall to find out which class we were in. The principal, Mr Sayt, took the stage and welcomed us joyfully to 2013. He shortly then told us which class we were in. Aliver and I were sorted into Mrs.Meirazack's class. Mrs.M showed us to our class room which was right next to the oval. Yes! She said we are able to sit wherever for now until she works up a seating plan. I sat next to Aliver of course and on the other side of me a boy with tanned skin and brown eyes sat next to me. Mrs.M began with "Good Morning Class and welcome to 6M." We wont do any work today so if you want to draw or read now you can. You can do whatever as long as its in the classroom and safe." So we all spread out, some people drew, others danced some even wrote their own maths questions they are nerds, obviously.
