Vic's POV

"VICKYYYY!" A high pitched voice called from behind me. I turned around to see a shortish girl running at me, along with 2 other guys following close behind. The girl ran up to me, and pulled me into a bid hug.

"Oof. Haha. Hey, Vi." I said, hugging back. Violet Ellis has been my best friend since ... Well, forever. She may be a girl, but she's still pretty cool.

"Hey Vic." Said my other best friend, Jaime.

"Sup, man?" I said, pulling away from the hug.

"What the hell, Vic! Where were you this morning? I had to walk to school! Why'd you leave so early?" Said my brother, Mike, punching me in the shoulder.

"Aw, sorry, man! I totally forgot about you. Plus, I didn't want to be late if I had car trouble again." I said apologetically, rubbing my shoulder. "Hey where's Tony?" I asked, looking around for him.

"He said he had some extra work to do, so he's already in class." Mike said causally.

"Hey, Vic. Who's your cute friend?" Violet asked, smirking.

"Wh- oh! Right!" I said turning back around to see Kellin, awkwardly standing there. "This is Kellin!"

Kellin looked up at them, sheepishly. "H-hi." He said quietly.

"That's Jaime." I said, pointing him. "That's my brother, Mike. And this is Vi."

"You must be new." Mike said, smiling.

"Y-yeah. I just moved here." Kellin replied.

"Well, I think you'll like it here." Mike said, as he started to walk off, Jaime following.

"Hmm. Well, I see you've met Mr. Sexican here." Violet said, playfully licking my cheek.

"Aww, come on, Vi!" I said, wiping off her saliva with my sleeve.

"You know you love it." She said, smiling, then turning back to Kellin.

"I'm Violet, but you can call me Vi." She said, holding out her hand.

"I-I'm Kellin." He said, shaking her hand. "It's nice to meet you. I presume you're Vic's girlfriend." He said, smiling slightly.

Vi and I stared at each other for a second, then burst out laughing.

"Me? Vicky's girlfriend? Haha, not a chance!" She said, laughing.

"Y-you're not?" He said, blushing slightly.

"No way! Me and Mr. Sexican here are just best friends." She said, punching me playfully in the stomach.

"Oh sorry." Kellin said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"It's fine, but I mean, me and him..." She made a gaging face.

"Oh come on! It's not like you've never wanted all this!!" I said, laughing.

"In your dreams!" She said, messing up my hair.

"Hehe. Loser."

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Kellin." She said, winking at him. "See ya later, loser." She said, turning to me, and placing a small kiss on my cheek.

"VII!" I exclaimed, laughing and blushing a bit. She ran away laughing. She can be so weird sometimes.

"Sorry about that." I said, turning back to Kellin again.

"Heh, it's cool. Your friends seem interesting." He said, laughing. Just then the Bell rang.

"Time to get to class. Come on, I'll walk you to first period." I said, smiling.

"T-thanks." Kellin said, walking towards me. "I really apprec- whoa!" He said, as he tripped and fell forward, right into me.

"Kellin!" I said, shocked. "Are you okay?" I said, standing him up.

"Y-yeah, I just tripped." He said, blushing immensely.

"Well, come on then." I said, laughing and blushing, leading him toward our class.
