"Okay" that's enough I'll talk to you later mom, uh huh okay bye now, Lucas said closing the laptop and ignoring Mrs.Friars plea's .
"Well that was rude" Maya said getting up from the sofa.
"Um where are you going the door is that way" Lucas yelled grabbing Maya's wrist , Maya quickly swung around and put her free arm over her face in fear.
"Wh- what are you doing" Lucas said in frustration then he looked down at the short blondes face and noticed a fresh bruise on her left temple then he noticed her face she was wincing in pain , "Oh god I'm sorry , Maya your face" he said letting go of her wrist.
"I'll leave" Maya said wiping away the tear Lucas caused, Maya got her things and made her way to the door , she went to open it but it was stuck , "What the hell" Maya dropped her things to the floor and tried to open the door with both hands but the door wasn't budging.
"Maya" Lucas whispered trying not to upset her even more, "I'm trying your stupid door won't open " Maya yelled in frustration.
"Maya" Lucas said a little louder ,
"What " Maya yelled turning to face him , "Your staying" Lucas said going to grab a blanket from his sofa to give to the shivering blonde , "I don't need your pity " Maya glared at the tall and strong builded stranger.
"Its not pity were snowed in" Lucas said pointing towards the window , so Maya could see for herself.
Maya quickly ran over to the window and gasped in disbelief, "What" Lucas said running to her side.
"Have you ever seen anything so beaeither." Maya said and Lucas's mind started to wonder so many things about this girl that he only met today, like how she was just angry as hell and now she smiling like a kid in a candy shop, and why was she afraid of him and the bruise where did it come from and why his house Lucas thought there's so many houses around here and she stopped at his was this a sign Lucas thought as he remembered him and his moms earlier conversation, Lucas trailed his eyes up and down the short blonde and a short ounce of glee unboxed itself, Lucas clenched his jaw at the warm feeling that he didn't welcome but didn't fight either.
Looks like were gonna be bunking together for a few days , Lucas said and the blondes eyes went dark again.
Hey I'm pretty fun Lucas said nudging the small blonde , "yeah okay huckleberry, you see I don't know what you think is gonna happen here but I'm telling you now its not gonna happen are we clear, Maya said death glaring Lucas .
" Lucas laughed , "don't flatter your self babe , I have a guest room come I'll show you. Lucas said , ushering Maya to follow him down the hall , they finally reach big wooden brown doors.
Lucas stopped in front of the door , this is it and if you need anything I'll be down there Lucas pointed to an even bigger door at the end of the long hard floor hallway.
" okay I think I've got it from here " Maya said fidgeting with the tag on her T-shirt.
"Okay, Lucas said nodded nervously.
" lucas" Maya nodded as she turned to open the door.
"Maya" Lucas imitated her and proceeded down the hall to his room.
