CHAPTER 11
EVERYTHING STAYS
(A/n. Hi ya so in this chapter I am using a song. WAIT WAIT! Don't tap out yet. The song is like 48 seconds long and I think it fits into the book quite well. I swear I am only hoping to use two or three songs in this book I promise. OK? OK. Now on to your regularly scheduled book.)

You don't know why you ran. Maybe Zane terrified you and you just wanted to get away from him. Maybe you needed time to think and calm down. You slow down as you reach a clearing and you look around. There was a hill with a beautiful weeping willow on the top and a brook running right down the center. You recognize the clearing almost too quickly. It was the place where your wounds were first tended to and where you knocked Travis into tomorrow. You smile as you head to the tree on the hill remembering and thinking. You know. I think I'll just stay in this clearing for a while. It's a good place to relax and think about my situation. Ya I'll stay here for a bit. You settle at the base of the tree and allowed your self to fall victim to sleep.
Le time skip of sleep

When you wake up it takes a moment to realize what had happened and where you were. Zane... Fight.... Running... And then I'm here. OK. I'm here to... Calm down. Heh. You remember a song your mother sang to you as a child. You decide for old times sake you might as well sing it.

Everything stays
Let's go in the garden
You'll find something waiting
Right there where you left it
Lying upsidedown
When you finally find it you'll see how it's faded
The under side is lighter when you turn it around
Everything stays right where you left it
Everything starts but it still changes
Ever so slightly
Daily and nightly
In little ways
Everything stays

You wipe a tear from your eye remembering your family and everything about them. Your fun loving father, your calm and collected mother, your charming and innocent little sibling. You smile thinking about memories. I suppose I should apologize about running. It's getting sorta late too. Everybody's probably worried so I really should go back. You think while looking at the gorgeous sunset. As you walk calmly down the hill you hear a twig snap. Crap! I forgot a sword! You remembered as you reached for the sword that was not there. You scanned the under growth for any sign of life when you noticed a leaf of a bush start to twitch unnaturally. You leap towards the bush and pin down whatever was there. "ZANE!?" You shoot up realizing who it is. "What are you doing here?" You demand with a snarl edging your voice. "Well I heard something and I went to go check it out." He answered with an annoyingly calm tone. "Sure. Nice story. What are you really doing here?" "That accusation. What makes you think I'm a lier?" He stood up and brushed himself off. "You lied to me before. You said that you weren't going to kill them." "And I didn't." "AND I SPARED YOUR MISERABLE LIFE!" He shut up at that comment. "I didn't have to but I did and you betrayed the trust that I had put into you." "Y-you trusted me?" "I trusted that you weren't going to do that to my family. But I suppose I shouldn't expect anything out of nothing." You started to walk away and towards Phoenix Drop leaving a confused Zane behind.
