Unexpected.

Chapter 1

3rd Person POV:

"Come on Taran!! I need coffee or I might just die." Courtney whined.

"Why do you need me to go with you? I have to get ready for work soon, I want to relax." Taran said sighing.

"Because you can drive and I can't." Courtney said matter of factly.

"Then walk." Taran giggled.

"I'm too lazy to walk!!" Courtney exclaimed.

"Alright, alright. I'll take you."

"Yay!!" Courtney squealed.

The two girls hoped in Taran's car and started the engine. On the way to the coffee shop the two girls jammed out to the song 'Jet Black Heart' by their favorite band 5 Seconds of Summer. Once at the coffee shop Courtney excitedly exited the vehicle and skipped inside, Taran following behind her and laughing at her friends eagerness. Once the girls got their drinks and were sat at a table they chatted about their day and about their favorite bands.

"Dude, I heard that 5SOS were actually in town for a show this weekend. Can you believe it?! They are in the same town as us!! How cool is that?" Courtney exclaimed excitedly.

"Yeah, too bad we don't have tickets to their show though..." Taran trailed off, playing with her straw.

"TARAN SHIT-" Courtney coughed, choking on the drink in her mouth.

"What?! What is it?!" Taran asked worried.

"T-turn around." Courtney choked out between coughs.

When Taran turned around she was more than surprised and even had to take a double take when she saw not one, but all four of the 5SOS boys walk into the quiet, secluded coffee shop that the girls love to go to.

"Oh my gosh!!" Taran whisper yelled.

Courtney started to stand up and walk away, but Taran grabbed her wrist.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm gonna get us some tickets." Courtney winked.

Courtney walked away and Taran watched, wanting to see how this would go.

"Hey, you fellas from around here?" Courtney asked confidently.

"Ah, no, we're just here for a few days." Ashton said sweetly, sending her a dimpled smile.

"I see. so uh, why don't you go take a seat over there," She said gesturing to hers and Taran's table. "That's my friend, her and I would love to fill you in on all the places you should see while you're in town." She smiled sweetly.

"You know what? That sounds lovely, thank you." Ashton smiled.

"Anything for a possible new friend." She said sweetly.

The boys went over and sat down at the table Taran and Courtney were at and the girls couldn't be more starstruck, but they have to play it cool.

"So, why don't you boys introduce yourselves?" Courtney asked.

"Right, I'm Ashton and this is Calum, Luke and Michael." I said gesturing to the boys.

"Nice to meet you!! I'm Courtney and this is..." Courtney looked at Taran expectantly.

"Hi, I'm Taran." She said a little shy, but when she looked up Michael was sending her a gentle smile.

And that's how the next 30 minutes went. Courtney and Luke playfully flirting and Michael and Taran sending flirty glances back and forth. Taran couldn't be happier that she let Courtney talk her into going to the coffee shop that day.
