Chapter 3-
My mind went completely blank for a minute. Had I heard her clearly? Had she really asked me to do what I heard she did? Dear God, help me! I cannot do that. Elias is like the sun...going even 1km near him is risky. You'll burn and die.
I heard Jen gasp from beside me and shake her head.
"Absolutely not!" She almost yelled at Kayla,"What are you thinking? You know how Elias is...."
"That is wayy easier than both mine and Thea's dares. You know if I wanted I could've dared you to strip naked. So, you know 'tis comparatively easier!" Kayla cut her off and smirked viciously.
I thought about it. Well, yeah, she was kinda right. Knowing Kayla, she could have dared me to do something more embarrassing. But that doesn't make this dare any easier.
"Look, change the dare, Kayla,"I said,"I don't want to cross paths with Elias."
"Ooh...Don't lie to me, Sweetie,"She let out an evil laugh,"Every girl throws herself on Elias and as a matter of fact, you don't look any different. But are you scared of him?"
Okay, now that seriously pissed me off. I'm scared of no one in this damned universe!
"Alright...the dare's on!" I gritted my teeth and filled up a glass of pepsi.
My eyes scanned the room until they settled on Elias. He was drinking some kind of beer, surrounded by a bunch of guys. He seemed to be the centre of attention cuz every guy was listening intently to whatever he was babbling about. I watched him as he ran a hand through his chocolate brown hair. He has woren a Gray shirt that perfectly represented his mesmerizing Gray eyes and matched his tight blue jeans.
"Well, well.." Kayla's annoying voice snapped me outa my thoughts,"Isn't somebody who claims to not wanting to cross paths with Elias drooling over him now?"
I sneered at her. I didn't drool. It was just..uh..an accident. Yeah, it was an accident. I was staring at him by mistake. That's right.
"Well? Are you gonna carry out your dare or chicken out being a coward?"
I glared at her then heaved myself up on my feet, picking up the Pepsi glass. Taking a deep breath, I walked over to where Elias was standing, leisurely talking as if he had no worry in this world. I pushed my way through the guys who were crowded around him and finally reached him. His eyes fell on me. He was first shocked to see me but then a terrible smirk crossed his face.
"Have you come here to complete the chat we couldn't complete in the garage today?"
I smiled sweetly and then shook my head.
"I wish I had, Elias, I really do," I replied,"But you see, I have more important matters on me currently."
Saying this, I flung all the Pepsi in the glass on his shirt. The shirt stuck to his body, exposing all his muscular features. God, it was soo damn hot! I could practically see his six-pack! Then, my eyes fell on him. They were slightly dark and filled with rage. And that's when I noticed that all the guys who were standing around him were laughing at him. Well, of course! I had just made fun of the most respected and hottest guy in the whole school!
"You'll pay for this, Hether!" He whispered so that only I could hear him. Inspite of myself, I couldn't help but notice the bit of playfulness in his tone.
Was he being serious? Then what was the playfulness I heard in his voice for? I looked at him, the confusion clear in my eyes. Suddenly, I felt myself being pulled away from there. I was so busy staring at him, that I didn't notice it till I was pulled outside the house by someone. What the hell?
I turned around to see Jonah looking at me with a shocked expression.
"What?" I almost snapped at him.
"You ask me that? Seriously, Lisa? That's what I wanted to ask you. Care to explain me? What was that for?" He replied, calmly.
"A Dare." I shrugged,"And even if it wasn't, I would like to add that the jerk deserved it."
"How can you be so stupid? Didn't you think once about the consequences? You know Elias..he'll find a way to get back worse at you! And as far as o know, it won't be any good for you." He lectured.
I rolled my eyes.
"Will you stop lecturing me? I had to carry out the dare as to maintain my Rep, you know! I'd rather be harrased by Elias than be humiliated by a slit like Kayla!" I retorted.
"You will think otherwise once you get to face the true colours of Elias." He laughed humourlessly."Someone mentioned my name?"
Freaking Lord, did he have to turn up right now?!
"Elias look what Lisa did...."
"Dude! Is she a baby? I mean, she can speak, can't she?" He raised an eyebrow at me.
I huffed but replied anyway.
"Well...I don't have any personal hatred with you, Richardson. I hope you understand it was just a dare."
"Okay so?"
"So it was just a game, Elias..." Jonah started but was cut off again.
"Can you leave us alone for a while, huh?"
"Of course not!" He exclaimed.
Oh God, I have a feeling they're gonna start fighting now. Knowing Jonah, he would do anything to protect girls and especially me, Jen and Thea.
"You know I'm not gonna rape her." Elias let out a laugh.
"I don't trust you as a matter of fact." Jonah replied, bluntly.
"Excuse me?" Elias narrowed his eyes,"I don't need to rape her. I can get any girl I want and I bet you know that."
"Look I won't..."
"Hey Jonah, you go..I'll be alright." I told him.
"But.."
"Trust me, I'll be alright."
He sighed but nevertheless, left. I turned to Elias and raised an eyebrow at him.
"What did you want with me?"
"You know Babe, you musn't have embaressed me publicly..now you're in deep shit." He smirked over at me, walking closer.
I couldn't help but notice the playfulness again.
"It was just a simple dare...." I replied, rolling my eyes.
"I couldn't care less." He simply said.
Now seriously I freaked out. What did he have in mind? I gulped loudly and I bet, he heard.
"What are you gonna do?" I said in an almost meek voice.
"I'm gonna..." He walked closer till our noses were almost touching.
My mind started racing. What did he have in mind? Damn, was I scared? But what he did thoroughly shocked me. He burst out laughing. Yeah, that to so hard that he was almost in hysteria.
"When you're done laughing...enlighten me about what's so funny." I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over my chest.
That only made him laugh harder. When he was finally done, he looked at me with a smile on his face.
"Do you seriously think I'm that bad?" He questioned me.
"Huh?"
"I mean do you think I'm so bad that I'd be angry for such a small thing?"
"Well, you seem so at least." I replied.
"Well, I'm really upset you think so little of me, babe." He said, in mock-sadness.
"Whatever!"
"Hey I enjoy a good joke!" He said,"That was a shock, I agree, but at least you didn't chicken out like most of the people would do. I'm really sad that you guys are so scared of me! I mean, C'mon! I'm not a small kid to get upset for this. And don't worry, I will not eat you for playing a joke on me! But I might play another one on you."
I saw a smile on his face and couldn't help but smile back.
"You know how to play a joke?" I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Your all doubts will be cleared soon, Babe." He grinned.
I merely rolled my eyes at him.
Before walking away, he leaned in and whispered in my ear.
"I bet you won't be able to get rid of me now anytime soon. And I bet you'd want to even."I stood there, completely shocked. This was a first. A complete different version of Elias Richardson. Till now, I'd heard of him as a sissy brat who'd get back at you for everything. But.....who knew he had a playful side to him?
I hope it stays that way!
P.S- Picture of Elias Richardson attached!
