Blast from my past

Kelsi's POV

What is up with this man, my own father, my blood. First he hurts my mom, then he yelled at my brother, and right now he left with a 20 year old slut.

"That whore!"  I yelled.

This of course only made Chance cry more. I felt bad for him I really did, but I was ranging with anger. That slut has taken my dad and he probably won't come back, which is best for us all anyway.

Chance's POV

I saw her eyes she was pissed, then she shouted 'that whore' and I couldn't take it I let out my pain I started to cry. I thought about what my dad had done earlier today and what he had just done, it was awful. I know he left because of me. I sprinted upstairs and slammed my door as loud as possible. I threw everything in sight, I yelled 'I'm sorry I made you do this dad but if you hate me why shouldn't I hate you!' Then I fell to my knees barely able to breathe. Kay walked in, she picked me up like you would a baby.

"Put me down I know you guys hate me, you think I'm different. You all think it in a bad way. I know that's why dad left I just know it." I screamed loudly

But she didn't listen to me and she had taken me into her room on her bed. That's when mom walked in I started to cry again.

"What happened in your room" she said strictly "you know when your father gets home he won't be happy, go clean it and fast."

"Mom he left a note down stairs I saw him with a young slut when he was writing the note obviously drunk to the core, mom I don't think he is coming back" Kelsi yelled as she started to cry.

Mom's POV

"What do you mean" I yelled

I noticed I had started to cry, but I thought isn't it better I mean he was never right to this family anyway. How could he do this to them, they are only kids, and they're his kids.

"Guys if you want you can sleep in my room" I said trying to sound okay.

But Kelsi replied by saying "Chance is going to sleep in here tonight but thank you mom".

Kelsi's POV

I woke up and saw Chance still sleeping it's Sunday morning. I have always been an early bird. I looked at my alarm clock it was only 8:19am. I got up to get breakfast with a couple tears streaming down my cheeks as I remembered last night. I saw the note on the counter and threw it away quickly trying to forget what had happened. After that  I walked to one of the bags full of food since we had not put the groceries away yet. I got out the box of lucky charms, I went to the dinning area and pulled a bowl out of one of the boxes. I got the milk out of the fridge. That was the only thing in the fridge. I made my bowl of cereal and sat at the the table. I heard a knock at the door I got up but my mom had beat me to it. She was wearing her robe with little ice cream stains on it but she didn't seam to care. She opened the door and at the door was a police man. He stated that my father was in prison  for harassing a younger girl.

One week later

Me, mom, and Chance were shopping for school clothes because we start at the new school tomorrow. We were at the mall and left my family to go shop for myself. So first I decided I would go to Aeropostale to get a back pack. So as I was walking in I see a cute pair of shorts and red flannel on the manikin and I decided to get them. I found them both in my size and put them both in the basket. As I went to turn around to find a back pack I bump into one of the employees and he fell on top of me. Which almost knocked the wind out of me, but when I looked up I thought I was dead. And that's because he looked like a angel. Like I swear I heard the song 'hallelujah' play in the background as I looked into his baby blue crystal looking eyes, but I snapped out of it as soon as I heard his voice.

"Damn she is hot" he said out loud.

I looked at him while laughing.

"Oh my gosh I said that out loud" he said while turning red.

"Are we just gonna lay here or" I said while showing a smile.

"Oh ya sorry" he said as he put his hand out and pulled me up. "Oh my gosh Kelsi... Kelsi Prazer?"
