--McCoy's POV--

A little ways down the hall is where they placed the science and medical officers, that would be anyone wearing a blue shirt or dress. It took awhile, but soon everyone was locked in their cells for the time being until we arrived at our mystery destination. I was placed in a cell with Joe, another science officer I didn't know, and Spock. Lucky me. The guard who put us there pressed a button on the wall and a blue screen appeared, blocking the entrance. Then he walked off with the next group to the next cell. After a few minutes the room vibrated and we heard the sound of engines being turned on. The plane took off and we were in the air. We sat in silence for a long while. Joe stared blankly at the wall, the other guy I didn't know was fooling with the science pin on his shirt, and Spock it appeared was deep in thought, probably trying to find some bit of logic in this situation, but there was none. There were no windows in the cell so no one knew where we were going. I had so many questions going through my head. Hoping Spock would have some answers, probably depressing answers, but still answers, I turned to him.

"Where do you think we're headed?" I asked to start a conversation.

"That I do not know. Wherever their base happens to be." He replied. I snapped.

"How did we even get here!?" I raised my voice in anger. This whole situation just sucked. "We are in an unknown world with hundreds of our crew dead, and then we get taken hostages by some advanced people!" I don't know who I'm mad at. I just am.

"I would tell you how we got here, Doctor, but I unfortunately do not have all the answers."

He just stares at the floor. I can tell he doesn't want to talk about it so I tried to calm myself down. What was I thinking? No one was at fault. No use getting mad at Spock. It's not his fault.

"Sorry." I said, regretting my actions. I stared at the floor as well. It was silent for a while.

"Doctor, now that you mention it, I have a theory on how we got here." Spock said all of a sudden.

"How's that?" I asked curious.

"Wanda, the Scarlet Witch. She possesses some sort of power. I assume it is some form of energy, a type of energy I am unfamiliar with."

"Are you saying she brought us here!?" I asked incredulously. I had always been suspicious of her. After all her magic was red. I had come to the accusation that she somehow used her power to bring us here, but now that Spock, the Vulcan, had said it with such confidence... I didn't know what to make of it.

"I first assumed that we were intercepted by a black hole. The Enterprises sensors, however would have warned us of a black hole being present. Also, Starfleet has explored that quadrant multiple times. If there was a black hole in that sector, we would know it. Then there is also, the theory that we were intercepted by a time warp. We however, were not going fast enough to travel through time. And this era, that they claim to be the twenty first century, it is not our past. This is an alternate universe. There was also, no unusual radiation spikes in the quadrant or for that matter, anywhere near us. I then came to the conclusion that some advanced being, for reasons unknown, did this to us. Then, of course, we met Wanda. The energy that we've seen come from her. She is an advanced being. We do not know how much power she contains. I therefore have come to the conclusion, that she, with her supernatural power, somehow intercepted the Enterprise and dragged it to her dimension."

"Are you saying this is the logical conclusion?" I asked, wondering what he would say to that.

"I'm saying it is the only conclusion." He responded. "Another curious thing about Wanda..." Spock continued on.

"What's that?" I ask.

"She can read minds."
