Name: Rosella Van Carter

District: 3

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Weapon: Sword in her hands, words from her mouth

Appearance: Rosella is quite tall for her age, with long dark brown hair that she ties in a ponytail. Her skin is quite pale, with her face dotted with a slight splash of light freckles over her cheeks, and ice blue eyes. Most of her body is made up of muscle. She also has fairly long legs and arms, and very nimble fingers.

Personality: Being quite the social butterfly, Rosella loves to work with others. She's cooperative, yet she can easily tell if someone is betraying her trust. She's smart, and quite the hard worker, when it comes anything that she puts her full-on dedication to. Around people she trusts and loves, she is quite extroverted and fun, but if someone messes with her she could easily turn deadly.

Strengths (max 5): Words are Rosella's greatest forte. She knows exactly when to use what words at what time, turning them into weapons for her rivals, and great blessings for her friends and family. She is also a fast runner, having won several foot races with girls and guys alike at her school. Having worked in the technology factories along with her parents, her creativity serves her a great asset, and she can easily improvise on the spot if she had to. And she loves reading. Reading is one of her favourite things to do when she isn't doing any of the other things above.

Weaknesses (min 4): Sometimes Rosella can easily lose her temper. One little thing could tick her off and throw her into a rage, and when she does, she could get pretty nasty. She also holds a lot of grudges against the people she couldn't trust. She is also scared of heights, and she can't stand nagging. And she can't stand people not understanding things she says the first time. If there's one thing you can't have Rosella do, it's repeating herself.

Backstory: Rosella lives a pretty normal life with her mom and dad. But sometimes, even normal is tinted with a bit of extraordinary. At the age of two, she could speak very fluent English, and can communicate up to adult-like standards. At three, she could read and understand any kind of literature, from Shakespeare plays to fantasy adventures. This explains how she could easily find the right words to say at the right time--her vocabulary is so expansive it blew everyone she met away. In a good way, of course. Her bedroom was so full of books that her imagination went wild, and grew stronger every day.

When she was 12 she began working along with her parents at the factory every day after school as a part-time job. It's just so that she could gain experience, so that when she's old enough she too can lead others through working in the technological industry that District 3 is so well known for. It's a basic yet somehow very extraordinary life for Rosella, to say in the least.

Token: a pewter coin with the approximate diameter of a Canadian loonie. On the coin, there is a picture of a quill writing on parchment, and on the flip side is a quote--"It is our choices that define who we are, not our abilities". (said by Albus Dumbledore)
