After a period of awkward silence and extreme blushing they decided to act like nothing was said. "What flavor do you want?" Mark asked Jack. "Umm cookie dough I guess" Jack responded reaching for the money in his pocket. "Don't worry I'll pay for the ice cream" Mark said. "Oh really? Thanks!" Jack said smiling. It was dark and the firework show was about to start so they got their ice cream and found a spot to stand and watch the fireworks. *BANG* *BANG* the show started. It started getting cold and Jack started shivering. "Here" Mark said pulling a blanket out from his bag. Jack put half the blanket around him and the other half around Mark. "Man these fireworks are so cool" Jack said staring at the bright colors exploding in the dark abyss of a sky. "Yup" Mark agreed staring at Jack admiring his appearance and the colors reflecting off of his face.
Finally the show ended so they decided to go home. While in the car Jack started think about today. He was thinking about when Mark made him breakfast. When he hugged Mark on the tower of terror. When they accidentally said I love you. When Mark bought him ice cream. When they shared the blanket. All these thoughts made Jack smile. "What are you smiling about?" Mark asked. "Um I'm smiling about how much you look like a troll" Jack said giggling. "Haha wow okay then" Mark responded. Eventually Jack fell asleep. Mark thought he looked adorable while sleeping. "I need to tell him how I feel..." Mark thought to himself. "Everything will be so much easier after that." Mark thought.
They finally made it back to Mark's house. Not wanting to wake the sleeping prince Mark picked Jack up and placed him on the couch. He put a blanket over him and kissed his forehead then went to bed. "He kissed me!!!" Jack thought to himself. He had woken up when Mark picked him up but he didn't want Mark to know he was awake.
