Chapter 1

U-Know POV

"Hey Max!" Yoochun yelled in his usual loud voice. Dang this boy sure is rowdy, even so early in the morning. Max was only 2 desks in front of him but Yoochun will be Yoochun and make sure the whole dang class can hear him.

"Yes?" Max replied while looking back at us. He pushed his glasses up on his nose.

"Told you!" Junsu started laughing. I couldn't help but chuckle along. Junsu's laugh sure is something.

"What?" Max panicked a bit. He started examining his uniform to see if there was anything wrong with it.

"You're a nerd at heart but today you actually totally look it!" Yoochun laughed which caused the rest of the guys to laugh along except for Max who started pouting in his sassy way.

"That's you fours fault!" Max got defensive and pointed a finger at all of us.

"Why?" Jaejoong said in between laughs.

"U-Know had to take a shower in the morning, then Jaejoong took forever to do his hair, then Yoochun and Junsu had to take forever to fight about the mirror and somehow got me involved in you two fighting or whatever. If that wasn't enough you guys took forever to eat and had to fight about that! I only got 5 minutes to get ready when all of this was done!" Max defended himself. He was not happy this morning but his misery made us laugh. Don't get me wrong though. We love the kid but he's the maknae of this group so he had it coming.

"You got mad because we were eating without you!" Junsu said.

"No I didn't!"

"Yes you did!" We all said at once, well Jaejoong and I said and Junsu and Yoochun yelled defensively. Then the class president came in the classroom and sat at her usual seat beside Max. Max and the class president are pretty close. They sometimes stay after school together and they help each other on homework and things like that. They seem to like each other, maybe they are talking.

"Good morning guys!" Haneul greeted with a big smile as she hung her bag on her desk handle and sat down. "What's with the fighting this early in the morning? Oh you're wearing glasses! They look good on you!"

"T-thanks." Max said and blushed a bit. This kid is needs to get over the little fear of his.

"It's nothing just teasing our little nerd that's all." Yoochun said.

"Guys leave him alone. At least he's going to go somewhere in life! Who know, he may be the boss of you four one day."

"Max a boss?" Jaejoong gave a big look at Max and then shook his head. "Nah, he wouldn't get enough respect to be a boss."

"Hey! What's that suppose to mean?" Max said.

"It means you're always going to be a little boy!" Junsu shot at him.

"Your mom was showing me your baby pictures the other day and you didn't change a bit! When are you going to hit puberty?" I said. The rest of the guys started laughing and Junsu being the Junsu he is, used his body to express his laughter and hit a girl who was walking by. It wasn't just any girl but Dani, the most mysterious and quietest girl in the school and probably the whole world. She doesn't give off much expression nor does she talk to anyone in the class. We used to think she didn't know any Korean because she's from America but she is the top girl in the classroom. Her and Max always switch from being the best student in the class. She never opens up to any of us and doesn't seem to ever be happy. She has purple hair which we think is just an American thing but we can never find out because she never will talk to us. I've only hear her talk 4 times throughout the school year and that doesn't count when she is asked to talk by the teacher. It's intriguing.
