Lucas POV
"I told you not to call me that" She said
"Just so you know, I will get every girl in this school to fall in love with me. Even the annoying ones. Which includes you." She walked away down the hall and I suddenly got a text
Text convo:
Missy😝: just got some fresh meat. Want to come get this one?

Me: ya sure. What room?

Missy😝: room 372

Me: kk.
End of text message convo
I walked torward that room, went in and saw a girl huddled on the floor, crying. Then I saw missy and the rest of our gang surrounding her, saying mean stuff and hurting her. I went over and realized who it was and I wasn't going to do it and also realized something else.
"Hey guys I got this one. I want to do this one by myself."
"Ok." They came over and talked to me for a minute while I looked at the girl. She was really afraid and I blinked my eyes in Morse code Saying something. She immediately was a lot less afraid. I guess she understood.
When they all left I closed the door so nobody would see and I picked her up sat her on my lap and held her.
"Oh so now you're nice to me?"
"I saw them doing that to you and I wouldn't do it. I couldn't. Just because I've been mean to you doesn't mean I don't like you."
"Oh. You're still a jerk though."
"Yeah I just saved you this one time. I am not going to do anything next time you are on your own."
Riley POV
I don't like him. I don't like him. I don't like him. Just keep telling yourself that and you won't fall for his tricks. "Do you want to get this project over with so I don't have to spend anymore time with you?"
"Yes. I can't wait till we are done."
"How about you cone over to my
house this Saturday and we can do it?"
"Sure." He put me down and walked out.
