I just stared at Josh in utter disbelief. "Josh your very funny." I laughed to him. "Samantha, I am not joking." Josh said. "Oh okay really tell me something that only the real Joshua would know." I told him. "Um. Okay when we went on family vacation, I kissed you in the rain and I never saw you again. And you you have a beauty mark on your..." I looked at him in awe. "Okay stop, stop, stop right there." I demanded. He just kept smiling and laughing at me. "What's so funny?" I questioned. "Oh nothing." Joshua said. How did he find me? Why did he find me? "Joshua its really nice seeing you and all. But you need to leave okay." I said showing him the door. "Nice seeing you too Samantha." He said standing in my doorway. "Hey Sam to you think we could go get some coffee tomorrow morning?" He asked. I considered it. "Okay." I said smiling. He walked away as I shut the front door. Whew. What a day. I need to text Daniella and Zoey and tell them I'm not pregnent. I grabbed my white iPhone and headed upstairs. I changed into my pjs and slipped into bed. I looked for Daniella and Zoey's name. "Hey guys. It's me Sam. I went to the doctor today. I found out I'm not pregnent." I debeated weather I should send. Then I decided yes, might as well. I hit send and got an instant reply from Zoey which said, "Facetime me." I found Zoey's name in my contacts and hit Facetime. I looked at her name, it said connecting. I held my breath. Then Zoey's face popped up on the screen. "Hey Sam." She said with a look of nerviousness strewn across her face. "Hey." I replied. "So your not pregnent." She said sighing. "No. I went to the doctor today and so she said no." It was a slow conversation. "Wanna sit with us tomorrow at lunch?" Zoey asked me. "No sorry. I just figured. You should know. I'd rather not sit with people who call me a whore. Then shun me so. Talk to later." I said before I clicked end. I shut off my phone and then slowly fell aslep.
The next morning I woke up and checked my phone. One messege from Josh. "Hey I'll pick you up at ten." I looked over at my clock. 9:45. Well, to late to get dressed. I put my hair into a messy bun, and walked into the kitchen. Bailee and Nathan were outside playing teather ball. My mom was making some pancakes. "Mornin' sweetie." My mom said flippin a pancake. "Hey." I sighed sitting in the chair by the counter. "What are you up to today?" She asked. "Going to breakfast with a friend." I told her. "Why haven't I seen any of Zoey or Daniella in a while?" My mom questioned. Suddenly there was tension in the air. "Um, were not friends anymore." I whispered. Luckily Josh knocked on the door and I was saved. I go to open up the door. I look up to his shinning face. He's smiling. "Why are you smiling. It's so fricken early." I said laughing. He chuckled. I quickly grabbed my purse and phone, and wave goodbye to my mom.
"Good morning," I say to him as were walking to his car. "Hi." He replied. I tried to keep the conversation going. "So what are we doing today?" I asked. "What are you wearing?" He questioned. "Pajama's duh!" I laughed. "If you must know. We are going to breakfast, shopping, and then I want to show you something." He said opening the door for me. "Alright then." I said sitting the passenger seat. He turned the car on. I looked over at his face. It was beautiful, perfect. Soft tan skin, dark brown eyes. I wonder what it's like to kiss him? "Samantha you okay?" He asked pulling me out of my thoughts. "Yah totally fine." I replied facing back forward.
The day went on. We ate breakfast, went shopping everywhere, and now it the final stop. We go down to the lake. It was late, and the sun was just setting. "Hey Sam." He said. We were both sitting in the bed of his truck. "Hey Josh." I replied in the same tone. He looked over at me. I kept looking at the sky. "Wanna come to my game tomorrow, and where my home jersey?" I felt like my heart was about to explode. "Um, sure." I replied, a smile spread across my face.
