These are just some poems that I think are either inspirational, romantic, beautiful, and even sad and these quotes are very meaningful to me or are just cute. This is my first book on wattpad, so I hope you enjoy. Please leave comments on how I did. I want to try to write an actual book after this, but for now I'll stick with poems. Well, let's begin....
1. A Smile by Don Head
May brighten up a cloudy day,
May make you feel good,
Sometimes a hurt will go away,
Here's hoping that more would.
Heart welcomes what the eyes can see,
An attitude can change.,
Insides warm from its glowing beam,
No matter what the range.
Like sun, but won't affect your sight,
Nor will it harm your skin,
Can instantly bring happiness,
Shine starts out with a grin.
Reflects a person's grace,
Less work with fewer muscles used,
Makes an attractive face.
And last but not least, one more thing,
Kind of contagious too,
Puts it back on viewer's face,
When it is seen, it's true.
2. Don't be Afraid by Unknown
Don't be afraid to lift your wings and
Soar through life each day.
Find joy, love, and happiness
As you go on your way.
Life is steeped with ups and downs and
Troubles not so fun.
Chin up high and shoulders back,
We meet them one by one.
Don't be afraid when sorrow comes,
The answer is quite clear.
Get down upon your knees and pray,
For God is always near.
3. Princess by Unknown
Cinderella walked on broken glass,
Aurora let a life time pass,
Belle fell in love with a hideous beast,
Jasmine married a common thief,
Ariel walked on land for love and life,
Snow White barely escaped the knife,
Rapunzel had to find a new dream,
Tiana kissed her prince and turned green,
Mulan left to be a man,
Pocahontas stayed to save her land,
It's all about the Smiles and Tears;
Because Love means facing your biggest fears.
I'm only going to write 3 poems per book. Comment if you think I should do more. Anyway onto the quotes....
1. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. (I bet almost all of you have heard this quote before but it has helped me through many difficult times.)
2. If "Plan A" didn't work. The alphabet has 25 more letters so keep going.
3. Life is a one time offer, so use it well.
4. Life is an adventure, so live it up!
5. Why try so hard to fit in when you were born to stand out.
6. Spend life with who makes you happy, not with who you have to impress.
7. Life is a struggle, accept it.
8. Be curious, not judgmental.
9. Be true, Be you!
10. I could be your perfect disaster, you could be my ever after. (That's just a cute little "emo" quote I like.)
