Jacob's P.O.V.

"Now boarding the flight to Florida." The lady over the intercom said as me and my mom got up and started towards the boarding station. "Jacob, cheer up buddy. I promise you will absolutely love it here!" My mom said with high hopes I would cheer up from that talk.

Oh sorry I totally forgot to introduce myself. My name is Jacob Sartorius. I have brown hair and and brown eyes. My mom always says that I have the most handsome 'hazel' eyes, so I guess hazel 😏. I am 5'9 almost 6 foot. And I am 15 years old. I am leaving Virginia and moving to Florida because my mom got a great job. It pays much more than my moms last job. But to be honest it's good for me and mom but I am really going to miss my friends, I know I will make more, it's just I will miss it. ALOT.

"Mom, I am really going to miss my friend Mark." I said in a raspy but alright tone, " I know, but I promise you will make new friends 😊." My mom said in a peppy kind of voice, I nod and go back to my phone. "You know I heard that we are neighbors have a 14 year old girl, maybe you guys could-" I cut her off "mom if you are thinking that we are going to have a magical summer and all this crap than that unlikely to happen, I am probably going to sleep all summer anyway." School has just ended and I left with no last words, well maybe the last they heard from me is 'see you next year!' but that doesn't count.

We take our seats and they Say to turn off our phones so I do. Maybe this could be a good year... 'You know what, I am going to make sure this is the best summer ever!' I scream in my mind and I was going to make it happen!

The clock read 5:48 and I was jet lagged. It was cool to see the sand and the ocean when we drove our rental car to our new beach house. I got half of my stuff out of the car and brought it to my new room, I have to admit, it was so much bigger than my other one! It was a little warm in my room so I cracked the window and heard probably the best thing I have ever heard in my LIFE I MEAN WHOLE LIFE!! This 14 year old girl as singing. I have know idea what song it was but it was AMAZING! I yell to her "that sounds like REALLY good!!" She looks at me and her eyes got really big and yelled back "NO ONE WAS SUPPOSED TO HEAR ME, I am so sorry!" She looked worried for some reason. Then as soon as I was about to say something she slams her window shut and that's the last I hear from that mystery girl.

She was very interesting and from what I can tell, very beautiful. She had dirty blonde hair and crystal blue eyes she was wearing a navy main I skirt with white crosses and a sheer white blouse with a side fishtail and a clear completion. I need to know her name.

I walk down stairs and my mom is unpacking, "you should go say hey to that neighbor girl." She says bluntly. "Sure and the sky's made out of b.s. (Bull sh*t) it's not going to happen mom." I say sarcastically "Please Jacob at least try to make NEW friends!" She says in an aggravated tone. "Fine." I say bluntly.

I walk to our neighbors house and knock on the door, no answer. 'That's strange' I think to myself and as soon as I start to walk away she answers the door. "Hello there, you must be the new neighbor! Hey I am Paige, Paige Ann Russell. What's yours?" She says in a very sweet voice, almost as sweet as honey, "Hey my name is Jacob, Jacob Sartious, and I want to know if maybe you can show me around the neighborhood?" I ask. "Sure I would love to!" She seamed to be excited by me asking.

So she showed me almost Everything in town! "Hey when you were singing earlier-" I was cut off by a tsunami of sorts of apologies from Paige. "I am so sorry about that, promise it won't happen again, I swear!" I smirk and say "no please keep up the good work I love the way you sing, your absolutely incredible!" I could tell that her cheeks turn about one million shades of pink and red. When she blushed I blushed. Which is SOOOO EMBARRASSING!! I walked her home and I thanked her and grabbed her phone from her hand. "OMG WHAT ARE YOU DOING BOY, GIVE ME MY PHONE!" I handed it to her after I put her number in my number in her phone "hit me up later ok?" I said "ok talk to you later. Bye!" She said as she walked into her house.

Unknown number : hey Jacob it's me paige😊

Me : oh hey Paige! What's up!

Paige🍕🌭: nm but I need you to meet me at my house at 6:45 pm  tomorrow ok?

Me: ok cool see you tomorrow good night

Paige🍕🌭: good night

Hope you like it this chapter I about 1,000 words so I NEED YOU TO LIKE IT 😂 hope i make the next chapter tomorrow and I hope you have a good night day or whenever your reading this. This is my first fanfic and my goal it to make every chapter about 1,00 words or more. I don't know when I post every chapter but it will probably be like one a day... MAYBE!
