"I will be there in a second mom." I said on the cellphone to my mom gripping onto my backpack as I walked up to the ally way.
"Okay be safeChresanto, love you." My mom said on the other line of the phone.
"Love you too." I hung up the phone and started to walk through the Ally Way.
I always walked through there because there were no bullies. A few Drunkens here and there but mostly just me. But it was a short cut home so the drunkens didn't phase me. "Ayo Nerd" I heard a group of boys laugh. I kept walking and tried to ignore them, but they sorta blocked my way.
"Wait, hold up come here." One of the guys said. I was hesitant to walk up there but I did. "Try this."
"isn't that drugs?" I asked unsure to take his offer or not. He chuckled a little.
"Nah, More like a stress reliever."
"oh, okay um I will try some at home." I tried taking the sack, but the guy stopped me.
"Not that easy, thats 20 dollars."
"well I don't need it then." I shrugged and tried to leave, but he stepped on my foot and I let out a soft squel, as the druckens looked at us weirdly, like usual.
""You said you wanted some, now your going to buy some!" He told me looking at me with anger in my eyes.
"Okay" I gave him the rolled up twenty in my pocket and took the sack and ran of, scared to death!
"ayo you pose to sniff it!" I heard him yell before I was all the way gone
I walked in the door of my house to see my mom waiting on me in the kitchen.
"What took you so long Chresanto?!" She barked at me. "You had me worried sick!"
"sorry mom." I shook off all of that and went to my room and tried the "stress reliever" stuff those guys gave me.
I sniffed the stuff and everything went black. blank.
I realized it wasn't a stress reliever.
This was Cocaine.
Cocaine is my Addiction.
For then on everything was different.
I was no longer the nerdy Chresanto at school.
I was using drugs at the age of 16.
My life was then over.
Thats what I thought.
