Louis stood there, in the middle of the stage, arms spread, flood lights on him, and basked in the sounds of his fans screaming. He had just finished his last song of the night, the last song of his tour and the crowd was filling him with energy. It was sad that his second tour was coming to an end, but it was time for a break.
His next album was already ready to drop in a months time, and he was already excited to get feedback from his fans. Louis' life was moving so fast and he loved it. He loved the thrill of being the biggest thing out there, and he would not let anything bring him down from the high.

3 MONTHS LATER

Louis sighed as he got out of the car and made his way into the offices of his team led by Azoff. The man was the reason why he got so popular so fast, and he gave the man thanks for every award and every success. He walked into the office and sat down across from the man and waited for him to get off the phone. Azoff put down the phone and folded his hands on the desk in front of him. Staring at Louis for a few moments before speaking, he sighed.
"How are you Louis?"
The young man nodded and smiled. "I'm doing pretty good. Had a good time getting away from the business and being with family."
He nodded. "That's good, I'm glad you could enjoy yourself."
Louis beamed. "I did, but it's good to be back."
Azoff pursed his lips. "Well, there's been some changes in plans about the new album."
Frowning, Louis leaned forward. "What do you mean, changes?"
"Well," the older man picked up a stack of papers and moved them in front of him. "Have you heard of how the album is doing?"
"Ummm, no, you told me to ignore all of that until I got back."
"That's right, I did didn't I." Louis nodded and waited for him to continue. He let out a deep sigh. "The album flopped."
Feeling his stomach leap into his throat, he tried to swallow the lump. "Flopped, as in?"
"As in you didn't make the quota to keep your contract." Azoff looked him straight in the eye as he said this and saw the panic in the boys eyes.
"I'm being fired." It wasn't a question, it was well known that if an artist didn't make a certain amount of money a label could drop the artist if there was no way to save their career.
Thankfully, Azoff shook his head. "No, but we honestly don't think you can gain back your success alone"
"Alone?" Were they going to have someone else write music for him? He had always prided himself in writing his own music, and apparently this last time his music was shit. It was the biggest blow to his ego.
"Have you ever heard of Harry Styles?"
He shook his head, frowning. "Is he the one going to write my music for me?" Louis let a little of his sadness mix with his anger as he spit the words out.
"No, you're going to write an album together."
Wide-eyed, he gaped at the man. "Like some kind of band? You want to put me in a boy band?."
"Louis, calm down. We recently signed this boy. He has been gaining alot of attention on youtube and we felt he could be a good addition to this label, and to you."
Louis sat forward fast, not believing what he was hearing. "You want me to let this amateur cover singer to take over my song writing and take my spotlight?"
Sighing deeply and giving him an annoyed look, he spoke again. "He has writen his own songs, and they are very good. And we want you to share the spotlight, so stop sounding like a brat. He has alot of potential, and your career almost ended after that last album. You need him, and he needs you."
