"N. N. N WAKE UP!" Someone is shaking me hard
*Grown* I open my eyes slowly. "Dani?"
"Well who else has a ghost sense, lives in Ohio and a few other places, and is always keeping an eye out for you."
I smile.
"Why did you fall from the sky, and change in plain sight?" She asks afraid that I may have bad news. " I know you are not one to fail at flying."
"I don't know. One second I was flying high in the sky, than the next I felt so weak and tied, so I fell."
"Blood blossoms. Not common here, but still when even one is near you when in ghost form it still causes damage to the ghost side, infact you're lucky that you changed to human form. Blood blossoms can kill ghost. Danny once h. . ."
I had to cut her off. "Please don't talk about him. I left him and his friends for a while. I need my little champ today, and only my champ." I nuggie her head fast.
She laughs out "Quit it N"
I stop, but only cause she puts up with me as if I was her big sister. "Four year of pain always feels as if it is gone when someone you care for is around." I smile
~Danny's POV~ (HA I AM NEVER GIVING UP POV also this takes place to right after you left)
"Danny are you sore it's a good idea to just let N fly off like that? Who knows how many ghost really want her dead." Asks Tucker
"I agree with Tucker." Sam says to make her normal add on.
" I know what your saying guys, but N has been on her own for years. We can't stop her," even if I want to.'
"Danny you heard her. She admitted to not even having full control after four years." Argues Sam
"And how are we going to find her? She can fly faster than my top speed in ghost form." It hurts me to say that, but it's not like we are even dating. Friends trust friends, and I trust her to stay alive.
"The BOOmerang. Like how we used it over THREE TIMES TO FIND YOU!" She yells as if I should remember everything.
"Than throw I'll throw it after you get into the Specter Speeder." I reply sum what relieved to know were N is.
~BACK TO YOUR POV also it's night time~
"Dani, this has been the best ghost/parents death anniversary day yet. Thank you for that."
"No problem N. You always are welcome to hang out with me."
I lie down on the grass next to Dani, and point to a set of stars. "That's Orion. It is the only constellation I know." Saying that out loud ends up making me laugh.
"What are you laughing at N?"
"The fact after about four years of being on my own, I still can't even remember were the northern star is." I end up laughing for about five more seconds, before a metal boomerang hits me on my forehead."Ouch" I rub right were it hit.
"You OK N?"
"Got hit on the head, it's my worst day of , but other than that I am lovely." I sigh real quick before smiling again. "So how have things been for my old friend?"
"Well other than my, hope to be last, encounter with Vlad and almost becoming pure ghost ecto things have been pretty good as far things can be."
"Well that's good to hear." says the voice I know I will never forget, and it's not Dani.
"Great now things are going to be confusing with two Dannys around. What are you doing here?" The words escape my mouth with more venom then I have ever heard in anyone's voice before.
"Well is that how you say hi to friends?" pipes up Sam who I didn't see yet again.
I slump my shoulders for half a second. "Mr. and Mis.Fenton didn't give me curfew." I say trying to get Danny, Sam, and Tucker to leave me alone. "You best not b. . ."
"But they knew you would be home with Danny. They trust you." Tucker buts in.
"Dani little, I have to get them home, and get the boy, who is past his curfew, out of trouble." I smile to say I'll be back soon kid. "Bye D."
"Bye N, and don't call me D. I'm Danny, and your lucky I let you even call me Danny little."
I change forms with Danny. "Danny we have to get you back soon, or else my excuse wont work. Sam, Tucker, you drive back and get back asap. Danny, fly at top speed with me." I take off, not flying at top speed for me, but slower for Danny's sake. About 200 miles seems fast to the untrained eye, but at about 240 or even faster, depending on wind, is way better than this. "You are so dead if this I can't get them to buy my excuse."
"You keep mentioning it, but what is it even?"
"I have seen your grades, and I will tell you I A's. We were studding at the park. If they ask why the park, it's because it can be really loud at your place."
"HEY I TRY, it's just that ghost hunting all night affects study time."
"Yea save those excuses for someone who will achingly beleave it." I roll my eyes just to be dramatic. "Hey look at that, less than four threes at top speed, and we made it back just an hour after curfew." I smile. *Ghost sense goes off and then I sigh* "I guess we better handle that before it's to late to use my excuse."
~Half an hour later+one beat up ghost in the Fenton thermos~
I open the door slowly and we step in right before
"DANNY WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN! AND YOU N, YOU PROMISED TO HAVE HIM BE HOME AT TEN!" Yelled Mis.Fenton
"Mis.Fenton, I am sorry for having Danny home late. I was helping him study, and the park, the one at the edge of town, that we walked to and back."
"Well next time at lest call us."
"Can do mis. Fenton. Came on Danny I have to quiz you at lest one more time before you can go to bed." I grab him and make it look like I am the one who really just wants the sleep, which I know that we both want sleep after last night. "Read this before the next test and get a C or B please. If you need more help than whats in this binder than I will help." I smile, silently begging that this will work. "Now let's get some well earned rest."
