Oceanica (Naruto Fanfic)

Chapter 5

 So Ufuru takes us to a ramen stand! Hana and I are literally bouncing up and down with excitement. Hana and I sit down and Ufuru stands guard next to us. Interesting. 

 "Sir, I would like six bowls of ramen please," I tell the man behind the counter. He blinks at us and starts making the ramen. Pshh, he doesn't think we can eat all of that. I got two bowls for me, two bowls for Hana, and two bowls for Ufuru. 

 "So, who did the Hokage say was on your team?" Asks Hana.

 "Umm, Kakashi Hatake, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, and Naruto Uzumaki," I say, recalling the names.

 "Interesting names. When do you think we will be able to meet them?" She asks.

 "Umm, I think tomorrow, or maybe even today. No wait, not today. We need to build a house, silly," I say.

 "So tomorrow then? Okay! Will you take me with you? Or do I start at the academy tomorrow?" She asks me, frustrated.

 "You start in two days. So yes, I will take both you and Ufuru with me. I'm not leaving you two alone! Who knows what you two will do!?" I cry.

 "Hehe, I've only known you for a short period of time, yet you know me so well," She says mischeiviously.

 I chuckles and nod. 

 Just then, the man gives us our food. I give two bowls to Ufuru and two bowls to Hana. We immediately dig in. When we are done eating, I pick up my bags and I motion for Hana and Ufuru to follow me. I start searching for a good place to build a house. I don't want to build a house in town...that would cause too much commotion. I decide to build a house in the forest by the training grounds. It would be handy. 

 I tell Ufuru to take us to the training grounds and he does so. When we get there I tell Ufuru to watch Hana and to not get into trouble. I go into the forest and look for a clearing. I soon find one and I feel the dirt. 

 "Hmm...screw this. I'm just gonna have to do it my way," I say to myself. I make quick handsigns and I concentrate my chakra. I start controling the earth in the clearing and soon it forms a cottage similar to my old one, except a bit bigger. I smile in satisfaction and I put my bags inside. I then, lock the door and head back to the training grounds.

 I don't know why, but I have this bad feeling. Turns out my bad feeling was correct. As soon as I walk into the training grounds, I see that a boy has Hana by the neck. I growl and start making hand signs with one hand. I make the final sign and say, "Fox snake bear dragon!"

 Fire swirls around the boy, careful not to touch Hana, and the boy gets a frightened look on his face. I motion for the fire to surround the boy, but not to burn him. I walk over to them and take Hana in my arms.

 "Where is Ufuru?" I ask her.

 "He went to find you when the boy showed up," She says shakily.

 I frown. I look at the boy. He is wearing a hood that has cat ears, he has purple markings on his face, and he has a puppet on his back. 

 "Puppet ey?" I ask him, as I make the fire surround him tighter.

 "Stop!" A voice shouts. I do not stop, instead, I merely turn towards the voice. It is a girl. She has blonde hair and a huge fan on her back.

 "And who might you be?" She asks me.

 "I am...a person...of course..." I say slowly. I do not want to tell her my name. I give Hana a look and she nods understanding. Do not tell her my name or your name.

 "I meant what's your name?" She says, growing impatient. 

 "Mind your own business. Besides, this boy is about to be burnt to death.." I say trailing off. 

 "Why is my brother about to be burnt to death? What did you do this time, Kankuro!?" She asks him angrily.

 "Meh, he was only trying to KILL MY SISTER!!!" I yell.

 "Seriously? KANKURO!!!! Why oh why can't you stay out of trouble?" She whines to him.

 "Well, I'm not saving you this time!" She declares.

 I chuckle. Sand flows towards Kankuro and I narrow my eyes at it. I'm not living under a rock. Only one person can do that, Gaara of the Desert. 

 "Ah, Gaara of the Desert. So nice of you to show up. How's the Shukaku doing?" I ask him. I knew this would anger him a bit but I don't mind. I am not afraid of him.

 "How did you know it was me?" He asks in a dark voice.

 "Oh you know, the SAND!!" I say sarcastically.

 He poofs near his brother that is about to be consumed in fire. "Let my brother go," He demands.

 "Oh, he isn't getting off that easily, Gaara. How about, I let him go and I fight him?" I suggest.

 He rolls his eyes and nods. I grin wickedly.

 "Alrighty, here we go," I say as I release the fire. 

 Kankuro immediately rushes towards me in a hasty desiscion made of anger. I just throw up a shield and he goes flying back. He slams into a tree and I make quick one handed hand signs. The blonde girl gasps in awe at my one handed signs. 

 "Ufuru summon," I whisper. A vortex of leaves shows up and Ufuru jumps out of it.

 "You called me master?" He says.

 "Yes, first of all...WHY DID YOU LEAVE HANA BY HERSELF?! And second of all, go attack that guy over there," I say calmly at the end. Hehe, first I yelled at him and then I calmly ordered him.

 "Yes, Oceanica, my master, sorry master," He then bounds over to Kankuro and jumps in the air. He does a front flip and lands on Kankuro. Show off..

 "Show off," I mutter under my breath.
