Chapter Twenty

(Angels'Pov)

We were done with dinner and Aphmau and Cadenza were speaking.But I felt a strange feeling like if something was going to happen.Then I heard people screaming and slashing I knew it were being invaded....

I got my sword.(From chapter Eighteen).I ran downstairs and see Cadenza and Aphmau."Aphmau,Cadenza were being invaded"I said and ran outside.Then I see guards fighting....Shadow souls....People yelling and clashing."YOU TWO GET CADENZA TO SAFETY WELL HOLD OFF THESE THINGS!"said Zack."These are--"Vincent said but got interrupted by Laurence speaking."--SHADOW SOULS WHAT THE HECK ARE THEY DOING--"But got interrupted again."THE NETHER PORTAL HAS BEEN OPENED!!"Vincent said."Z-ZACK!"Cloud yelled."THESE THINGS ARE TOO STRONG TO PUSH BACK!"Katelyn yelled.I sighed I ran to were Katelyn was and slashed the shadow soul.She looked at me but I only 'tch'."THEY'VE BEEN CHANNELING THEIR POWER IN THE NETHER FOR TOO LONG!WE NEED TOO--"I yelled but got cut off by Zack yelling."VINCENT,CLOUD GET CADENZA TO SAFETY NOW!"He said.Vut then two shadow souls took Cadenza and Aphmau they screamed.I ran but I wasn't quick enough and they both vanished.I growled now one of my eyes were red.No one I mean No one steals my sister Aphmau.I ran and Cloud with Vincent followed me.

Now we're in the forest looking around."Okay we have to find Cadenza and Aphmau  we can't let them with those shadow souls or they might be dead we have to split up the faster we find them"I said coldly.Cloud looked a little scared and Vincent looked like he just found a goddess and it can't be me."Cloud you search the right side of the forest with Lady Angel.I'll take the left side"Vincent said."Vincent you chat go alone"Cloud said."I'll be fine.I've dealt with Shadow Souls before in the Nether.We need to find Aphmau and Cadenza before they try to use Cadenza to expand the portal"Vincent said."T-That's right Cadenza is"Cloud said."She's a medium she can focus the portal energy to expand it to allow actually Shadow Knights to escape.We can't allow that to happen"Vincent said."But it's been years since we've even heard anything about the nether"Cloud said."That doesn't matter anymore.Someone has opened it and we need to get Cadenza and Aphmau to safety now.Now Angel you don't have to participate in the search for Cadenza and Aphmau but know that it would greatly help us"Vincent said.

"Cadenza and Aphmau are my friends I don't care if I get hurt"I said."Glad to hear.Take care of Cloud here,got it?"Vincent said."V-Vincent !I can't be alone with h-her.."Cloud said.But Vincent already left."Heh Vincent has Confident he goes alone"I said and turn to Cloud."L-Look before we head out I just want to say.I swear I wasn't looking at you earlier"Cloud said Shy."I was just joking with you"I said Giggling now my eyes normal blue."Okay..heh,well...um Can we start again?I-I don't want to go into this mission and be on your bad side.My name is Cloud I am in third command of Meteli village"Cloud said."And I'm Angel one of Aphmau's Guards"I said happily and I extend my hand.But he back away."...S-Sorry.I just...I can't touch...a ladies hand.....I-I'm too shy to do that..."Cloud said shy."What happen if I fall?"I said."Eh?I'll catch you of courses but---lets hope it doesn't come to that"Cloud said.And he blushed."We need to go and find Cadenza and Aphmau now"I said."A-Agreed!Lets head out!Let me know if you find anything suspicious"He said.I nodded

We both went in the right side.Then I heard something."I think I heard something this way.."Cloud said."Me too I can hear it"I said.Then he went ahead."What?!"Cloud said."What?what is it?"I said."It's just a turkey"He said.I sighed in anger.I murmured."Stupid turkey"And he walked more.But then I saw something."Wait I see something follow me"I said then I saw a camp and people in it laying there and A shadow knight.Then I slashed it.I huffed.Then I went and checked the camp and the two dead body's."They been here for weeks but got killed  today"Cloud said."We have too hurry that can end up for Candenza and Aphmau"I said and I went more but then saw fire."Wait what's over there?"I said.They I turned around."Cloud move slowly don't make sodden move"I said."We have to make sure Cadenza and Aphmau get out alive wait I see Cadenza!"I said a bit loud."Okay I see Aphmau and Cadenza in the floor"I said."We need a plan"Cloud says."I'll attack you get Aphmau and Cadenza"I said."All right as soon as you get its attention I'll grab Cadenza and Aphmau and get her to safety of the village.I'll rush on your mark,please be safe my'lady"Cloud says and I nod.And hand him the laso.Then I run and put away my sword.Instead I summon a Scythe.(The one in the picture).Cloud gasped.It really didn't matter but I slashed one of them.Then I shout."Run Cloud I'll be okay!!"I said.My eyes turned red.I then slashed the last Shadow soul from behind."Stupid Shadow Souls"I said and the Scythe vanished.What will happen next.......
