Chapter 2. Meeting Eachother

*Lucky POV*
I wake up and I'm still on the plane. I look around and everyone is asleep. I get up to use the bathroom, and then I check the time.

L- Oh it's only 3am ? My flight lands at 6 am,so I still have 3 hours of this flight. Ugh
I ask the lady for some water cause ya know, I was thirsty. She handed me a glass of water and I thanked her. I drank it and I used the little tv provided for everyone who boarded the flight. I listened to some music and fell back asleep.

*mom shakes me*
M- Hun wake up it's time to get off the plane.
L- Okay *rubbing my eyes*
I grab my carry on out of the compartment and left everything as it was. I walk out of the plane and wait for Ace and my mom to walk out. We check through security and all that and then we get our luggage. We walk out and I see that their is a guy holding up our names.

M- oh yeah, I'm going to explain everything in the limo.
A&L- okay
We get in the limo and the guy takes our luggage. It looked...wow... I really liked the limo. Until my mom started to talk.
M- soo... Um..Lucky, Ace..
L&A- yeah mom
A- what's up ?
M- soo... The whole reason we left your father back home is because things weren't going to ways it seemed. You see, you dad has been moody lately, I just thought he got stressed with working and all that. But then it became worse. He started *mom started tearing up* abusing me...
A- What WHAT!!!
M- I'm sorry but it's true* the tears started flooding down her face* He would hit me and say things that really.. Really hurt my feelings.
L- oh mom.....
M- yeah sweetie * she said wiping a tear*
L- I kinda already knew..
M&A- How!?!!
L- BUT I didn't find out till yesterday!!! So.... I was walking home from hanging out with Jess and Maria and then I hear screaming. I see to look what's happening and I saw him screaming that your worthless and that he never loved you.... And I also saw him...well...slap you.
M- oh I am so, so sorry sweetie *she starts crying while giving me a hug*
So..so sorry
L- it wasn't your fault. Mom, it's going to be okay, we are far far away from him now. He'll never find us. Also how long has this been happening?
A- yeah and where are we going to stay ?
M- so I'm sorry to break it to you but it has been going on for several months now and I'm sick of it. And I planned ahead and I bought a real nice big house w/ 6 bedrooms, a pool, 4 bathrooms, a beautiful kitchen, a huge living room, and a huge front and back yard. I was Able to afford it because I've been saving up all these months. I also got a job there and I start Tomorrow in the afternoon. I'm a secretary. It's a good job and it pays a lot of money. I also changed your phone numbers because I don't want your father to track us down. (A/n smart mom)
A- oh okay, and I'm so sorry mom, I can't believe we.. Or I at least didn't know about all of this. I just hope your happy.
L- yeah mom we know how stressful this must've been for you.
M- don't sweat it. I had to do it, because if I hadn't your dad could've probably harm you two next. And that was the least thing I would let him do.
L- okay mom. We love you.
A- yeah. We love you, and that will never change
We all have a group hug and we are all glad it was over. We could have a fresh start. But ... I'm going to miss my squad. I wonder if my mom would at least tell them where I am.
L- so mom.. Can my friends know where I am? 
M- I don't think so Hun. At least not now. I want us all to get settled in first and then you can tell them where you are. But you can't tell them our address.  You never know what your dad will do to find our location, so for now just say that you are sick.
L- okay mum, I understand.
We arrive at the house and...oh my god.... It was beautiful ! It was so big and omg ! I loved it !
M- so what do you think * with a huge smile on her face.*
A&L- WE LOVE IT !!!!
M- I knew you would *laugh*
L- omg I think I'm going to die if this house.
M- well I was going to keep it a surprise but... There is also a movie theater with the house and...a dance studio for you two to practice
a&L - you have got to be kidding right... RIGHT!!
M- Nope
L- mom you really just bought ' house goals'
M - *laughs

We enter the house and my jaw dropped to the floor. This was WAY better than my old house.
L- mom.... Literally...omg
A- This place is so awesome.!!
L- right!!
We looked around the new house and it was jaw dropping. I loved every single room. Everything was beautiful! We even got to pick our rooms. I got a room with my own bathroom but Ace got a his room with a balcony. My mom got the Bigger bedroom cause you know... Even she called dips. Our bedrooms where big but hers was huge!
When we get settled in I notice it's 3' o clock pm. So I was kinda wanted to explore the city. If my house was beautiful then think about what the city would look like! So I ask my mom if I can explore a little.
L- hey mom can I explore the city? I want to see what what it's like.
M- umm....sure! But do t go to far and be safe. Also be back in an hour. Okay ?
L- yay okay mom, bye., live you *kiss her on the check*
I grab my phone and head out. So I notice that there was a Starbucks near by so I walked I've there. It was literally a 3 minute walk. There was also a target, Mall, move theater, laser tag, and everything fun. I go to Starbucks and get a caramel frap. They where my favorite since my friend told me to try one. Aka myself. I walk out while using my phone. And then I bumped into someone . We both fell and then sadly my drink.
L- oh I'm sorry are you okay*closing my eyes while rubbing my back*
?????- yeah I'm fine and.. Oh sorry I also spilled your drink. *the person lead his hand out *
L- yeah it so prob. *open my eyes to see a really cute boy *
??? - yeah again I apologize. Oh! Sorry my name is Gabe.
L- oh nice to meet you Gabe , I'm lucky. *smile *
G- hi Lucky, oh and in also sorry about your drink, let me but you a new one !
L- no really it-
G- No, my treat okay, I'm not talking no for and answer*crossing arms while smirking*
L- *laugh* okay
G- so I'm guessing you bought a caramel frap?
L- yeah how did you know ?
He points to my spilled drink
L- oh *laugh*
We enter Starbucks and He gets me a new drink. And he got one two
G- here * heads the drink*
L- thank you. *smile*
G- it's the least I can do, well um... Lucky do you um... Wanna hang out ? *scratching his neck*
L- um....sure! I have to head home by 4 though, I just moved here so..
G- oh great ! I can show you around ! Your going to love it here*smiles*
L- Yeah I hope so, it already looks so beautiful
G- *says something under his breath that I couldn't hear* (he said * not as beautiful as you *
L- oh what was that ?
G- oh... Uh nothing !!!
L- wow okay chill *i laugh *
G- *laugh*  so as you can see there is a plaza here. I come here very often. Come, I'll show you something
We walk somewhere that wasn't very far. But I was wondering where we are going.
G- so while we are walking, tell me about your self *takes a sip of his drink*
L- well I just moved here, um I used to live in MA, my favorite color is red and purple, I have a little brother named Ace, I love Starbucks, and I'm a dancer .
G- you a dancer ? So am I!
L- really that's cool *smile*
G- yeah and I think I recognize you... Um... Wait ! Your the team lucky& ace aren't you!
L- *giggle* yeah
G- that's so cool, I love your dancing *smile* oh and I dance pretty well, if I do say so myself.
L- sure *laughs sarcastically*
G- oh yeah, watch this *turns on down in the dm* *dances and does a back flip at the end*
L- ummm.... Okay you proved me wrong .. But my turn, *dance and do the splits at the end
G- ugh.... No fair. But you are a good and dancer. Oh here we are !
I look to see a beautiful park, I bet many people come here. It was just.. Wow..
L- omg.. This is...beautiful,
G- yeah, so do you wanna walk around?
L- way ahead of ya! Try to catch me !! *I run again if him and he tried to catch up *
G- hey wait up !!
  We end up taking and walking for the whole day, we literally went everywhere, I loved it. I think I may like him. I know so much about him.
But still I just met him, he's so fun to hang out with.
3:55 pm
L- oh I think I should get home it's alms it 4
G- aw I wish we could hang out longer. Oh here's my number. So then we can keep in contact. And don't forget, ask you mom is you can join IDA.
L- I will, it was nice seeing you ! * hugs him*
G- *hugs back* yeah you two. And are you sure you don't want me two walk you home?
L- yeah my house isn't far from here. Bye !!!
G- yeah bye I'm going to head home two.!
So when I was walking home he was going the same way. I was kinda curious.
L- are you sure your not following
Me home?
G- oh no my home is the same way I guess.
L- oh okay well do you want to walk together to se?
G - *laugh* sure I'd love to
I end up to My house and turns out we are neighbors.
L&G- woah... That's insane.
L- well.. I guess we are neighbors. It was nice meeting you. *smiles*
G- yeah it was nice meeting you two *smile*
We both go in our houses. I go in to see my mom smiling
M- who's the boy *wiggles her eyebrows*
L- mom I just met him today! Long story short we bumped into each other and he spilled my drink, he offered to buy me a new one and he wouldn't take no for an answer. We ended up talking for the whole day and turns out we are next door neighbors.
M- Awww sweet. I think you two will hit it off *winks *
L- ugh mom I just met him ! *groan and go up to my room.
I go on my phone and take a shower. After that I decide to wear sweat pants and a t shirt. It's about a half and hour later so I decide to text Gabe
L- hey it's me Lucky 😄
A minute later
G- oh hey lucky ! 😃
We end up texting for about an hour till his mom calls him for dinner
G- oh my mom called me for dinner, I'll see you tm. Bye bestie ❤️
L- lmao bye dork 😂
G- hey that was mean😂
L- yeah I know 😂 bye see ya later bestie 💙
G- yeah see ya later 
   After that I decide to watch tv for the whole day. My mom made dinner and all that . I decided to ask her if I can go to IDA
L- so mom you know I love you right?
M- what do you want *laughs*
L- okay okay, I was wondering if I can do to IDA, it's a really good dance academy and Gabe will be there
A- who is Gabe , your BOYFRIEND?????
L- No Ace ! He's just a friend I literally met today !
A- I know I just wanted tm why on your nerve *laughs*
L- ugh, anyway can I go !?!
M- sure but what about Ace he's a dancer two
L- He can join two if he wants to !
A- yeah I want to. I love dancing
M- okay okay you can both join *smiles*
L- YES!
    We clean up and I head back to my room. I watch fuller house in Netflix because who doesn't love full house in the first place! Then I decide to txt Gabe goodnight
L- hey dork, goodnight 💚
G- hehe good night dork 💕
    I then feel asleep and just couldn't wait till tm.
 
So this is the life... I like it.
