The team and I were on a helicopter to Qatar over Saudi Arabia. "Uh, God, five months of this, I can't wait to get a little taste of home. A plate of Mama's gator étoufféé!" Fig said with a big smile on his lips. "You've been talking about barbecued gator and crickets for the last two weeks. I am never going to you Mama's house, Fig. I promise." Bobby said and pointed a finger at Fig, I laughed at Bobby's response and he playfully glared at me. "But Bobby, gators are known to have the most succulent meat." Fig argued, I nodded, "It's not that bad. It kind of tastes like chicken, but has the gammy taste as well."

Bobby glared at the both of us, then Fig started saying something in Spanish. "English, please. English," Bobby said glaring slightly harder at Fig. "I mean how many times have we... We don't speak Spanish. I told you that." Will said and gave Fig an annoyed and tired look. "Why you got to ruin it for me man? That's my heritage" Fig said, clearly annoyed, then he started to grumble in Spanish "Yeah, yeah, it's you heritage. We get it! Go with the Spanish, whatever" Will said and waved his hand in the air in defeat and aggravation. Fig smiled triumphantly and leant to his seat. We just sat there for the rest of the flight in silence.

After about another hour in complete silence, we finally arrived at Qatar. We split up to clean up. I went to the women's showers and got cleaned up, when I was done I dressed into a clean ACU and went to get my other used uniforms to get washed. After about an hour in a half they were cleaned and the plane to take the soldiers going on R&R to the states arrived. I quickly packed my freshly cleaned clothes and weapons into my duffle bag and my gear bag, I also put my backpack with my personal things on my back. I started to head to the plane. I noticed the team was already there. I sadly smiled and walked over to them signaling to the crew to give me a moment.

Will, Fig, Eeps, and Bobby were standing there with sad smiles as well. "Guys it's only two weeks. Why so down? I'll be back before you know it. Though my parents might try and keep me there." I said laughing. I dropped my two of my bags and quickly pulled them into a hug. "Please don't do anything stupid without me." I told them. Will looked at me and said, "Keep that family of yours safe. And make sure your little brother stays out of trouble."

"Oh, trust me, I will. Unless we pull some pranks together." I said grinning. They laughed, one of the crew members shouted that I needed to get on. "Ya'll stay out of trouble and stay in touch." They looked at my and Bobby went over to a crate and grabbed a large package and came back over handing it to me. "Don't open it until you get home. Have a safe flight, Specks. And come back to us in one piece." I nodded and gave them one last hug and ran onto the plane. I waved at them before the door closed. I took my seat. I fell asleep on the plane after about three hours. I was woken up by a small nightmare, after calming down I looked out the window the was next to me and noticed we were landing.

I grabbed my bags and the large package and sat there waiting for the crew to give us the go. Once they did three of us raced of the plane. A few soldiers outside the plane had clipboards. One of them came up to me, "Name and rank, as well as team?" I looked at him with a raised eyebrow, "Captain Rosalie Witwicky, codename Specks, my team is the Special Ops." He nodded and marked something on the clipboard, "A man named Ron Witwicky, as well as a woman named Judy Witwicky are here to pick you up." I grinned at the fact my parents came and nodded walking towards the hanger, where we are suppose to go once we arrive for a quick check up.

Once I finished, I saw my parents running towards me. I set my stuff done right before they tackled me into a hug. "Rose! My baby girl. It has been so long." Mom said hugging me. Dad just had this big grin on his face, then he pulled me into a hug when mom let me go. "Where's Sam? I thought my lil' bro was going to be here as well." Dad let me go, "Sam doesn't know that you were coming home. We thought you would like to surprise him at school. I am picking him up after school, so I can take him to a car dealership if he get's a third A, he already got the two thousand dollars. Remember the deal I told you about the last time we talked over the phone?"

"Oh yeah, I remember you mentioning that. How long until we have to be there?" I asked my dad, "I would say about two hours. Plenty of time for you to get changed and got to the bank to get a car, cause I am sure you want to get a car to fix up." He smiled towards the end when he noticed the look on my face. I love cars, so I would go to auto shop and help out around the place. They taught me everything about cars. Not how to plug a computer into a car and find out what's wrong with the car. They taught me how to find the problem the old fashion way.

"Well what are we waiting for, I want to shower and change into civilian clothes. That and I want to open up this package one of my comrades gave me." They laughed and nodded dad grabbed both my gear pack and my duffle bag, huffing at the weight. I chuckled at him and grabbed it from him as well as the package. They led me to dad's dark green Convertible. I put my stuff in the trunk and got into the car.
