Before telling who I am, I might have to tell where i'm from or more especially where my parents are from.
It is the early 80's a civil war is ready to start far from here, the political state is more and more unstable.
My father who's on site with my mom and older brother who's less than year old is trying to find a way to flee the country.
After many tries he finally arrives in Europe to seek asylum, alone, leaving my mother and brother behind.
In the mid 80's, he's able to bring back my family together in a small amazing country in the middle of Europe, Switzerland.
The first years are hard, my family is in a country they don't know, with a complete opposite culture, a new language, people they don't know and have hard time communicting with. It's a new way of living and is overwhelming for everyone.
My brother who's only a few years old is able to easily learn the language and interact with his peers and easily integrate.
Here I come almost after a decade in the early 90's. First born in a different country with a different culture than my family's.
And here is the story of a young boy in the middle of a cultural struggle, hopes and diffenrences...
